Book Synopsis What's Your Frequency? by : Ed Kuiper
Download or read book What's Your Frequency? written by Ed Kuiper and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2007-09 with total page 130 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: There is no law in Physics which says that matter is the sole basis of all that exists. As a matter of fact, Quantum Mechanics (of which classical Physics is an approximation) does not even postulate the existence of matter: it merely postulates the probability of the existence of matter. That does not explain the experimental fact that matter exists in reality. The author quotes an existing hypothesis that an entity independent of matter (called Universal Consciousness) changes the probability of matter into the existence of matter. When this hypothesis is added to the laws of Physics it removes some anomalies in Physics and leads to the clarification of other anomalies in Biology. The present malaise in society is due to a contradiction between what modern materialistic social sciences teach and what individuals find natural and acceptable. The acceptance of the new paradigm facilitates the development of social theories which accept social compassion and ecological balance as their basis.

Book Synopsis Low-Level Radio Frequency Systems by : Stefan Simrock
Download or read book Low-Level Radio Frequency Systems written by Stefan Simrock and published by Springer Nature. This book was released on 2022-03-02 with total page 396 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book begins with an overview of the RF control concepts and strategies. It then introduces RF system models for optimizing the system parameters to satisfy beam requirements and for controller design. In addition to systematically discussing the RF field control algorithms, it presents typical architecture and algorithms for RF signal detection and actuation. Further, the book addresses the analysis of the noise and nonlinearity in LLRF systems to provide a better understanding of the performance of the RF control system and to specify the performance requirements for different parts of the RF system. Today, accelerators require increased RF stability and more complex operation scenarios, such as providing beam for different beam lines with various parameters, and as a result LLRF systems are becoming more critical and complex. This means that LLRF system developers need have extensive knowledge of the entire accelerator complex and a wide range of other areas, including RF and digital signal processing, noise analysis, accelerator physics and systems engineering. Providing a comprehensive introduction to the basic theories, algorithms and technologies, this book enables LLRF system developers to systematically gain the knowledge required to specify, design and implement LLRF systems and integrate them with beam acceleration. It is intended for graduate students, professional engineers and researchers in accelerator physics.
Book Synopsis Structural Acoustics and Vibration by : Roger Ohayon
Download or read book Structural Acoustics and Vibration written by Roger Ohayon and published by Elsevier. This book was released on 1997-10-15 with total page 437 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Structural Acoustics and Vibration presents the modeling of vibrations of complex structures coupled with acoustic fluids in the low and medium frequency ranges. It is devoted to mechanical models, variationalformulations and discretization for calculating linear vibrations in the frequency domain of complex structures. The book includes theoretical formulations which are directly applicable to develop computer codes for the numerical simulation of complex systems, and gives a general scientific strategy to solve various complex structural acoustics problems in different areas such as spacecraft, aircraft, automobiles, and naval structures. The researcher may directly apply the material of the book to practical problems such as acoustic pollution, the comfort of passengers, and acoustic loads induced by propellers. Structural Acoustics and Vibration considers the mechanical and numerical aspects of the problem, and gives original solutions to the predictability of vibrations of complex structures interacting with internal and external, liquid and gaseous fluids. It is a self-contained general synthesis with a didactic presentation and fills the gap between analytical methods applied to simple geometries and statistical methods, which are useful in high frequency structural acoustic problems. Provides for the first time complex structures in scientific literature Presents a self-contained general synthesis with a didactic presentation Integrates the most advanced research topics on the subject Enables the researcher to solve complex structural acoustics problems in areas such as spacecraft, aircraft, automobiles, and naval structures Fills the gap between analytical methods applied to simple geometries and statistical methods Contains advanced mechanical and numerical modeling Provides appropriate formulations directly applicable for developing computer codes for the numerical simulation of complex systemssystems
