Dont forget that another name for Jehovah is Jealous and He is a jealous God. This book seeks to look at marriage from the aspect of Gods directions to us as stated in the Bible. It also takes a look at some of the marriages of biblical figures such as Adam and Eve, Joseph and Mary, King David and his wives, King Ahab and Jezebel among others. Men and women are different in all their aspects and this must be taken into consideration as they make that decision to walk lifes path together as husband and wife, as God in His wisdom has laid out clear instructions to us with regards to our roles in this union. He is clear on children and how they should be brought up as well as how they should relate to their parents in the family. The roles of the father and of the mother are clearly outlined as well as when the dissolution of union through divorce is allowed by God. It is hoped that marriages will benefit as a result of the contents found between the covers of THE MARRIAGE MANUAL.

When her husband is the sole breadwinner, she will usually take a whole lot more shit than a wife who is working a good job making as much as her husband or more. For some reason, a man needs to feel that he is the king of the beast, the ruler of the jungle, and superior over woman. How mistaken can he be, but all through history up to the present day, men have tried to live by this philosophy. Women, please tell your lion king husband that this is not the jungle, but we can rumble, like in the, jungle if you want to! In a marriage ceremony, the father usually gives his daughter away. The mother does not give her son away, but, the father gives his daughter away. Now, maybe back in the day when women were still being drugged around by their hair in prehistoric times. Maybe back in the day before women learn about equal rights and fought to be able to work right along men, even serve in the military. Maybe before this, men were taking on most of the responsibility, but someone need to let them know, baby, things have changed! To have a fulfilling marriage, you must be willing to put the union (husband and wife) first before yourself or I. You need to start thinking of what is best and safe for us instead of just me. No one should ever feel bad You would be surprised at how many marriages collapsed because a spouse (feeling 100% against doing something) did it because they felt they should be supportive to their spouse. For a marriage to be lasting, it must involve two unselfish people, willing to give more than they receive, hard working and love devoted toward the common cause of us not me, and a hell of a lot of luck (just joking).
