Book excerpt: Invisible Truth The Supreme Source of Infinite ManifestationChristina Wollebek-Smithwith Marty Smith 267 pages. Prologue* The world of science and the world of religion (faith) are not exclusive; they're symbiotic. The only difference is the interpretation of what miracles are.* Science has proof positive that all of the universe is made up of energy, including the human race, and all animals for that matter. The various faiths of the world concur.* Energy cannot be created nor can it be eliminated. Its direction, however, can be changed.* The Nine Laws and Principles of Invisible Truth explain how to direct energy in a way that creates (manifests) abundance in our lives through directed, organized energy.* These laws and principles show exactly how to use directed energy in our lives to manifest what we desire.* Throughout the book we show how the world of science and the world of faith are congruent in these Nine Laws and Principles.* The importance of this message is in the use of the Nine Laws and Principles. If you wish to go directly to causing immediate change in your life, start with Part Two of Invisible Truth. The remainder is the reasoning behind our stance. This is a 4 part book. Part 1: In the Beginning. What is Invisible Truth. Manifestation. Aether. Part 2: The Bucket. Living in the Now. Thought. Words. Belief. Work. Thankfulness. Forgiveness. Giving and Receiving. Environment. Putting it Altogether. The Last Words. Part 3: Our Stance. Cosmic Consciousness. Unveiling the Neural Mysteries. Your Extended Environment. Part 4: About the Author. Afterthought. This book explores the ability of our self to change the neural pathways through which our reactions to exterior stimuli travel, thereby changing our perceptions...thus allowing us the ability to control the direction of our lives. There is about five years of research behind this work. We spell out how to actually change brain patterns in a natural way. This is beyond Rhonda Byrne's book, '"The Secret," on steroids. This is "A Course on Miracles" in a way that is not only coherent, but applicable. This book explains the religion of science, and the science of religion.

Book excerpt: Dinoshi Keiper opens the eyes of the reader to a world less known in a quest to finding meaning to life. The Invisible Truthprovides answers to questions such as: Who are we? Where do we come from? Where do we go to? Are we human beings attempting to evolve into spiritual beings or spiritual beings having a human experience? She answers these questions linking life to birth, death, past lives, karma, rebirth, True Self, life purpose, Higher Beings, planes beyond the Earth and our almost relentless journey towards self realisation. The truths of the Universe compiled in this book contains a combination of literature research into mainstream beliefs and ideologies, as well as, the science behind our existence. The rather complex theories and universal concepts are lightened up through real life people's stories, including past life stories, and Dinoshi's own experiences from past and present lives. Through first hand real stories of the author explains how the laws of the Universe take each individual through a journey of experiential learning towards ultimate freedom. This book aims to show the reader there is much more meaning to our lives than what we comprehend through our five senses, for knowledge is acquired via the five senses and wisdom via our Higher Self. The Invisible Truth is a doorway to understanding that Higher Self and beyond! It is your gateway to your journey.

Book excerpt: A powerful source of healing for teen girls and young women who have experienced sexual abuse, Invisible Girls offers survivors agency and hope in an era when too many girls have suffered alone The statistics are staggering. One in four girls will experience sexual abuse by the time she is sixteen, and 48 percent of all rapes involve a young woman under the age of eighteen. It's not surprising then, that in a society where sexual abuse of young women is rampant, many women never share their stories. They remain hidden and invisible. In her pioneering work with young survivors through the last thirty years, Dr. Patti Feuereisen has helped teen girls and young women to find their voices, begin healing, and become visible. In this revised second edition, Dr. Patti's gentle guidance and the girls' powerful stories continue to create an encouraging message: Remarkable healing is possible if girls learn to share their stories in their teens and early twenties. With a new introduction, new chapters, and updated resources, this new edition of Invisible Girls has even more to offer girls, young women, and those who care about them.

Sometimes, abstract scenes from the dream world appearing in form of sweet dreams or nightmares in human subconscious mind metamorphose into real life experiences, to say the least. The enigma that stems from these ethereal perspectives seems to stick in the silver lining of our day-to-day activities irrespective of any personal persuasion, religious belief or freethinking conviction. It is clear from these indications that the physical is largely ruled by the spiritual and that prevailing events in the affairs of mankind are the resultant effects of the sublime and impalpable causes. There are invisible courts where decisions are made and verdicts are passed which influence visible happenings on this side of the divide and reflect such streaks in the elemental system in an unhinged manner. It is mostly characterized by annoying, recurrent misfortunes.

Book excerpt: In a time and place where breaking curfew means severe punishment, Micah tries to reach home safely after being required to work past the enforced time. His excuse is valid, but if the police catch him, the ramifications will be dreadful. To the young man's horror, a police officer pursues him, and the threat of brute force appears imminent. Micah's fears escalate until Jacob, a stranger with unusual powers, intervenes and saves him from the attack. Oppressed by government law that demands obedience and suppresses questions, Jacob initiates a revolution and befriends Micah. Torn between living the life to which he is accustomed and fighting a government that imprisoned him, Micah is thrown into a battle between society and the law, and more surprisingly, within himself. He must decide if he will join the fight to overcome evil emissaries who heartlessly hunt and destroy any potential threat, or obediently succumb to the corrupt government. No matter what choice he makes, there will be no way to return to his old life. Inspired by 1984, Fahrenheit 451, and Jet Grind Radio, Matthew McLean's unsettling tale explores the universal theme of good versus evil for a man conflicted by choice and trust in a dangerous world.

Book excerpt: After the conquest of Mexico, colonial authorities attempted to enforce Christian beliefs among indigenous peoples—a project they envisioned as spiritual warfare. The Invisible War assesses this immense but dislocated project by examining all known efforts in Central Mexico to obliterate native devotions of Mesoamerican origin between the 1530s and the late eighteenth century. The author's innovative interpretation of these efforts is punctuated by three events: the creation of an Inquisition tribunal in Mexico in 1571; the native rebellion of Tehuantepec in 1660; and the emergence of eerily modern strategies for isolating idolaters, teaching Spanish to natives, and obtaining medical proof of sorcery from the 1720s onwards. Rather than depicting native devotions solely from the viewpoint of their colonial codifiers, this book rescues indigenous perspectives on their own beliefs. This is achieved by an analysis of previously unknown or rare ritual texts that circulated in secrecy in Nahua and Zapotec communities through an astute appropriation of European literacy. Tavárez contends that native responses gave rise to a colonial archipelago of faith in which local cosmologies merged insights from Mesoamerican and European beliefs. In the end, idolatry eradication inspired distinct reactions: while Nahua responses focused on epistemological dissent against Christianity, Zapotec strategies privileged confrontations in defense of native cosmologies.

Will the Christian foundations of America stage a comeback? Will Christians be anticipating the end times? Will the tribulation have come? Beginning with the emergence of the New Left out of the tumultuous 1960s, the first two installments of Tribulation Cult stretch over three generations, climaxing with the election of 2048. Center stage are four college friends who follow divergent life paths— two Christians who become ministers, their liberal counterparts who rise to the summit of world politics. The journeys of the four focus many interconnected themes in the lives of men and women who must decide where they stand as the nation increasingly splits along liberal and conservative lines, and what role the church is meant to play in that divide. Will true Christians be viewed as a cult, ostracized from mainstream society, culture, and politics? These are only two of the questions the characters in Tribulation Cult are forced to grapple with in this deeply challenging spiritual drama written in the style of Phillips' best-selling contemporary page-turner Rift in Time.

Book excerpt: his book challenges contemporary scholars to free the history of African Americans from the lexicon of enslavement, and to set the record of their struggle straight. It attempts to redress fundamental misconceptions lodged in the heart of American historiography: · That there was no significant collective resistance to or struggle against slavery by captured Africans who had been forcibly immigrated to the United States from the mother continent · That the Seminole Wars were simply another set of Indian wars, rather than wars which marked the collective African resistance to the enslavement system · That the records of the period (official documents, newspaper records, etc.) were accurate descriptions of fact, rather than censored materials produced in wartime, with a view to enhancing public support and calming public fears · That self-liberated Africans mostly fled northward to freedom, rather than southward to the free territories of Georgia and Florida.

Book excerpt: To many people, spiritual warfare is not something they want to think about or to deal with. Yet the reality is we, as believers, are involved in spiritual conflict. Many choose not to think about it, others have put it out of their mind, but the Word of God is clear that we are involved in this battle. Rob Randall, in his latest book The Invisible War, details his own personal experience and that of his family. More importantly, he turns to the Word of God to give the reader direction and instruction on how we are to face the Enemy. You will find this practical tool a tremendous help in understanding what God's Word has to say about this invisible war. As you are guided by these chapters it is my prayer that your spiritual eyes will be opened, that you will put on the full armor of God and that the strength and wisdom of our Lord will carry you through the battle.
