Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: • Illustrates the role of transpersonal fields of consciousness in healing a range of issues, from inherited family and ancestral problems, to past lives and womb trauma, to near-death experiences, merged identities, and spirit attachment • Shares remarkable cases of healing and personal transformation from the author’s more than 20 years of energy healing work, as well as experiences from other gifted healers, psychics, and shamans • Provides diagrams of the human energy body, the spectrum of states of awareness, the multilayered fields of consciousness, and the psycho-energetic dynamics of the transformation process Sharing remarkable cases of healing and personal transformation from his and his wife’s more than 20 years of intensive professional energy healing work as well as experiences from other gifted healers, psychics, and shamans, Peter Mark Adams illustrates the role of transpersonal fields of consciousness in heal ing a range of issues--from inherited family and ancestral problems to past lives and womb trauma to near-death experiences, merged identities, and spirit attachment. Drawing on esoteric tradition as well as scientific research, such as Rupert Sheldrake’s morphic field studies, the author maps out the human energy field in all its subtleties, providing diagrams of the human energy body, the spectrum of states of awareness, the multilayered fields of consciousness, and the psychoenergetic dynamics of the transformation process. Through compelling testimonials of powerful healings, Adams demonstrates how the processes of healing and of peak spiritual experience are closely aligned with harmony within the larger energetic field of consciousness. Proposing a new model of consciousness, reality, and energy healing that incorporates the anomalous phenomena that occurs on the outermost edges of human experience, the author draws these many strands together to outline not only a multilayered approach for different kinds of energy healing modalities, such as Reiki, breathwork, EFT, and remote healing, but also a useful program of self-help that anyone can follow to make lasting improvements to their physical, emotional, and spiritual health.

Book excerpt: THE HEALING FIELD examines remarkable cases of healing and personal transformation made possible by a range of natural energy based healing techniques. The anomalous experiences arising in these contexts throw fresh light on the timeless issues of the nature of consciousness, reality and selfhood. Through the unique lens of the energy healer we are able to discern a far more expansive, positive and empowering view of our place within the larger web of life. The experiences recorded in The Healing Field are based upon live cases derived from over 15 years of professional experience. The insight and understanding arising from peoples lived experience goes far to relieving the anxiety, fear and doubt that otherwise overshadows the vast majority of people. Back Cover Text: The Healing Field presents a collection of real-life cases drawn from intensive energy healing work. For over 15 years, Peter and his wife Gulcan have been practicing and teaching energy psychology methods such as Emotional Freedom Techniques, Tapas Acupressure Technique, Reiki and breathwork to thousands of people. Their research reinforces the idea of a healing and morally self-correcting field of consciousness. This concept is compatible with Rupert Sheldrakes Morphic Field. The Healing Field illustrates how transpersonal fields of consciousness connect all life forms and provides powerful leverage to heal the vast range of issues not addressed by conventional medicine and therapy. These issues often relate to: Contracts made in the womb Merged identities Problems inherited from ancestors Past life traumas Near death experiences Interactions with deceased persons Spirit and entity attachment Spiritual experiences Encounters with higher order beings Each section carefully references scientific research, making this book a unique bridge between science and energy healing. Using simple, natural techniques we can heal our emotional and physical issues. In doing so, we contribute towards healing the fields of consciousness that connect us all. The Healing Field provides a reliable roadmap to help you chart a new course towards realizing your full potential in life.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Using clay in therapy taps into the most fundamental of human experiences - touch. This book is a comprehensive step-by-step training manual that covers all aspects of 'Work at the Clay Field', a sensorimotor-based art therapy technique. The book discusses the setting and processes of the approach, provides an overview of the core stages of Gestalt Formation and the Nine Situations model within this context, and demonstrates how this unique focus on the sense of touch and the movement of the hands is particularly effective for trauma healing in adults and children. The intense tactile experience of working with clay allows the therapist to work through early attachment issues, developmental setbacks and traumatic events with the client in a primarily nonverbal way using a body-focused approach. The kinaesthetic motor action of the hands combined with sensory perception can lead to a profound sense of resolution with lasting therapeutic benefits. With photographs and informative case studies throughout, this book will be a valuable resource for art therapists and mental health professionals, and will also be of interest to complementary therapists and bodyworkers.

Book excerpt: At last, the paperback edition of the monumental best-seller (almost half a million copies in print!) that has changed the way Americans think about sickness and health -- the companion volume to the landmark PBS series of the same name. In a remarkably short period of time, Bill Moyers's Healing And The Mind has become a touchstone, shaping the debate over alternative medical treatments and the role of the mind in illness and recovery in a way that few books have in recent memory. With almost half a million copies in print, it is already a classic -- the most widely read and influential book of its kind. In a series of fascinating interviews with world-renowned experts and laypeople alike, Bill Moyers explores the new mind/body medicine. Healing And The Mind shows how it is being practiced in the treatment of stress, chronic disease, and neonatal problems in several American hospitals; examines the chemical basis of emotions, and their potential for making us sick (and making us well); explores the fusion of traditional Chinese medicine with modern Western practices in contemporary China; and takes an up-close, personal look at alternative healing therapies, including a Massachusetts center that combines Eastern meditation and Western group therapy, and a California retreat for cancer patients who help each other even when a cure is impossible. Combining the incisive yet personal interview approach that made A World Of Ideas a feast for the mind and the provocative interplay of text and art that made The Power Of Myth a feast for the imagination, Healing And The Mind is a landmark work.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In 1924, the United States began a bold program in public health. The Indian Service of the United States hired its first nurses to work among Indians living on reservations. This corps of white women were dedicated to improving Indian health. In 1928, the first field nurses arrived in the Mission Indian Agency of Southern California. These nurses visited homes and schools, providing public health and sanitation information regarding disease causation and prevention. Over time, field nurses and Native people formed a positive working relationship that resulted in the decline of mortality from infectious diseases. Many Native Americans accepted and used Western medicine to fight pathogens, while also continuing Indigenous medicine ways. Nurses helped control tuberculosis, measles, influenza, pneumonia, and a host of gastrointestinal sicknesses. In partnership with the community, nurses quarantined people with contagious diseases, tested for infections, and tracked patients and contacts. Indians turned to nurses and learned about disease prevention. With strong hearts, Indians eagerly participated in the tuberculosis campaign of 1939–40 to x-ray tribal members living on twenty-nine reservations. Through their cooperative efforts, Indians and health-care providers decreased deaths, cases, and misery among the tribes of Southern California.

Book excerpt: Why is it so difficult to change our beliefs and behaviors even when we know they no longer serve us? How can certain individuals reverse incurable disease while others suffer the effects of childhood wounds despite years of therapy? How is it that the centenarian population is the fastest-growing segment of the US population even though the majority of people over the age of 100 rarely visit their doctors? These are the questions readers will explore in the revolutionary book from clinical neuropsychologist and biocognitive science founder Dr. Mario Martinez. In "The MindBody Code," Dr. Martinez challenges us to embrace a radically new paradigm for health and well-being. Readers will not only learn the basics of this fascinating, cutting-edge science, moreover they will learn to communicate with the body in its own biosymbolic language for results that until this point may have been elusive at best. Through fascinating case studies and practical training in embodying the methodology, Martinez reveals the way our cultural beliefs impact our immune system; the pathway to healing the archetypal wounds of shame, abandonment, and betrayal; how to break through the ceilings of abundance that limit our prosperity; and much more. Book excerpt: A practical guide to the Sagi method of healing across space and time • Shows that we can interact with the Akashic information field to diagnose and treat illnesses nonlocally and that the effects are controllable and verifiable • Details techniques for diagnosing and transferring healing information at a distance, using geometric symbols to treat acute infections and reduce pain, and integrating information medicine with homeopathy and chakra therapy • Shares the author’s development of her method, including stories of successful remote healings and her interactions with pioneers such as Erich Körbler Remote healing is healing over space and time. Often called “nonlocal healing,” it is no longer a magical occurrence or a mysterious technique reserved for powerful shamans. Remote healing has moved from magic to science, and it can be learned. In this practical guide to the Sagi method of information medicine, Maria Sagi, Ph.D., reveals that nonlocal healing is a quantum science that works through the transmission of information and that its effects can be controlled and verified. Drawing on the Akashic information field of Ervin Laszlo, she explains that the universe is not a mechanical system composed of matter--it operates like an overarching network that runs on and is connected by information. Cosmic information “in-forms” and underlies the whole physical world, including the human body. Sharing stories of successful remote healings she facilitated and her interactions with pioneers Erich Körbler, Gordon Flint, and Franz Stern, Sagi shows that we can access the Akashic information field to diagnose illnesses, treat symptoms, and heal the causes of disease, whether we are in the same room as our patient or on the other side of the earth. Moving beyond the theoretical to the practical, Sagi explains how to diagnose and treat someone with information and how to attune to the information emanating from the patient. She shares techniques for transferring healing information across space and time by using geometric symbols to treat acute illnesses and infections and reduce pain. The author also explores how to integrate information medicine with homeopathy and how to diagnose through photographs, through the chakras, and through morphic patterns in the Akashic information field. Opening up a new dimension in the art and science of healing, Maria Sagi demonstrates that by working with the Akashic information field we can trigger the body’s self-healing mechanisms and restore order to a person’s energy and information systems.
