Francis's Parliamentary career begins in 1784, and is here continued through three General Elections. Later we have a correspondence between Francis and Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire, Francis's intimacy with the Prince of Wales begins about 1790, and from that time he and his family were much at Brighton.
