Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The present volume considers the most recent developments in the chemistry of cyclic inorganic and organoelement compounds. Nineteen of the 22 chapters are based on invited and other lectures presented at the 6th International Symposium on Inorganic Ring Systems held in Berlin on August 18-22, 1991. Main group compounds dominate the content from boron via carbon, silicon, germanium, tin, nitrogen, phosphorus and arsenic, to sulfur and selenium. The book is organized by element, moving from left to right in the main groups of the Periodic Table, followed by one chapter each on bonding and nomenclature of ring molecules. The list of contributors comprises distinguished scientists from 8 countries.

This book was released on 2009 with total page 348 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The focus of the book is monocyclic inorganic ring systems of the p-block elements and the polymers that are, in many cases, derived from them. Bicyclic or polycyclic arrangements are considered when they are closely related to those of monocyclic systems.

Download or read book Chemistry of the Non-Metals written by Ralf Steudel and published by Walter de Gruyter GmbH & Co KG. This book was released on 2020-02-24 with total page 741 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The current textbook is an excellent inroduction to the chemistry of the non-metallic elements. The book begins by reviewing the key theoretical concepts of chemical bonding and the properties of different bonding types. Subsequent chapters are focused on reactions, structures and applications of the non-metallic compounds. Combining careful pedagogy and clear writing style, the textbook is a must-have for students studying inorganic chemistry.
Book Synopsis Inorganic Reactions and Methods, Oligomerization and Polymerization Formation of Intercalation Compounds by : A. P. Hagen
Download or read book Inorganic Reactions and Methods, Oligomerization and Polymerization Formation of Intercalation Compounds written by A. P. Hagen and published by John Wiley & Sons. This book was released on 2009-09-17 with total page 462 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: For the first time the discipline of modern inorganic chemistry has been systematized according to a plan constructed by a council of editorial advisors and consultants, among them three Nobel laureates (E.O. Fischer, H. Taube and G. Wilkinson). Rather than producing a collection of unrelated review articles, the series creates a framework which reflects the creative potential of this scientific discipline. Thus, it stimulates future development by identifying areas which are fruitful for further research. The work is indexed in a unique way by a structured system which maximizes its usefulness to the reader. It augments the organization of the work by providing additional routes of access for specific compounds, reactions and other topics.

Book Synopsis The Ring Index by : Austin McDowell Patterson
Download or read book The Ring Index written by Austin McDowell Patterson and published by . This book was released on 1965 with total page 600 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The period from January 1, 1957 to January l, 1960 produced approximately 2000 new ring systems (including some isomers of systems in the second edition of "The Ring Index"). These systems are covered in this first supplement to the second edition of "The Ring Index"'. They have been given numbers starting from the last number in the second edition, 7728 to 9734. The same general pattern of the second edition has been followed in this supplement. The ring systems are named and numbered according to the rules given in the Introduction and the Appendix of the second edition. They are arranged in order from the simplest system to the most complex. Completeness of coverage of the literature in this supplement is the result of the cooperative efforts of the indexing staff of Chemical Abstracts who record all new ring systems as they are encountered in their indexing.
