Book excerpt: There are so many number of questions like how this universe came into existence and what form is it going to be in future always keeps bothering our scholars and scientists and thus in sake of finding answers to which they every time come up with some new theory that can prove out to be perfectly answerable to their queries. And so like many other theories, big bang is also the one which describes about how this universe, that you are living in now, came into existence. Though, this is not that only theory which described about whole of the universe, but among many of those such as Steady State Theory or Oscillating universe theory, this was the one which was highly accepted and thus became popular.

Book excerpt: A lively, accessible look at the Big Bang theory This compelling book describes how the Big Bang theory arose, how it has evolved, and why it is the best theory so far to explain the current state of the universe. In addition to understanding the birth of the cosmos, readers will learn how the theory stands up to challenges and what it fails to explain. Karen Fox provides clear answers to some of the hardest questions including: Why was the Big Bang theory accepted to begin with? Will the Big Bang theory last into the next century or even the next decade? Is the theory at odds with new scientific findings? One of the most well-known theories in modern science, the Big Bang is the most accurate model yet devised in humanity's tireless serach for the ultimate moment of creation. The Big Bang Theory is the first title in a planned series on the major theories of modern science.

Book excerpt: The steady-state model of the Universe was first proposed by two Austrian-born British astronomers, Hermann Bondi and Thomas Gold, in 1948. It was further elaborated by Fred Hoyle and other cosmologists of repute. The Universe, according to this idea, has always existed. It has no origin and will continue to exist indefinitely. Even though the universe is expanding, it maintains its own average density or steady-state by constantly creating new matter. Several cosmologists today reject this model because it does not accommodate background radiation or the fact that the universe's appearance fluctuates over time. The steady-state model of the universe was influenced by a film from the 1940s called Dead of Night. The movie was divided into four categories and presented a circular structure such that the ending was similar to the beginning. Following their viewing of this film in 1946, Hermann Bondi, Thomas Gold, and Fred Hoyle questioned if the universe was formed in the same fashion. The debate that ensued eventually led to the steady-state hypothesis.

Book excerpt: Unified Theory (UT) replaces Relativity, Quantum, Quark-lepton, Higgs, Supersymmetry, Electroweak, String & Big Bang theories. Light-wave propagates in all-composing, all-pervading sharmon medium as a kinetic gas. Sharmon comprises +ve positrino & -ve negatrino. UT has two elements (positrino, negatrino), two charges (mass, electric) & two forces (gravitational, electromagnetic). Mainstream has over 200 particles but none is ‘element’. Cosmino mass is innate,Higgs nonexistent. UT explains bending of light due to gravity, constancy & invariance to source-observer motion of light velocity c, variability of c invalidating Relativity, also wave-quantum unity of light. UT rejects 'length contraction', 'time dilation', uncertainty principle. No fermion or neutron is neutral. In UT’s Non-expanding Universe redshift is caused by non-Doppler depletion of photon energy. This book will revise textbooks of Physics,Cosmology at all levels and may be translated into other languages.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In the past few decades, physicists have uncovered a hidden order in nature; some have called it the Cosmic Code. Based on this order, scientists aim to uncover a grand unifying Theory of Everything (TOE). Once this order is decoded, it is envisioned by some that all fields of knowledge could be linked together based upon it. Using the work of experts in various fields, this book links testable scientific evidence in the Koran with modern discoveries that lead to a normative decoding of that order. The book is unique and has the potential to evoke great interest among scientists and lay people alike because of its non-traditional linking of science and religion. The work leading to the writing of this book, and the book itself can well be described as the "most important discovery" of the modern era. It also presents the Koran as a "falsifiable" scientific theory, which years of scientific inquiry have provided testable evidence for. It is a coherent presentation of the author's life work, a collection of over 15 years of research carried out by him. The author was nominated for the prestigious Templeton Prize for Progress in Religion .

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Thirty years ago Albert Einstein died, his dream of a theory that would unify the universe unfulfilled. He spent the last decades of his life searching for such a theory-a theory that would explain everything from elementary particles and their interac tions to the overall structure of the universe. But he failed, not because he didn't try hard enough, but because the attempt was ahead of its time. When Einstein worked on the problem liter ally nothing was known about black holes, white holes, sin gularities, the Big Bang explosion and the early universe, quarks, gauge invariance, and weak and strong nuclear forces. Today we know that all these things are important in relation to a unified theory, and that they must be incorporated in and explained by such a theory. Thus, in a sense, our problem is much more complex today than it was in Einstein's day. But scientists have persevered and as a result we are now tan talizingly close to achieving this long-sought goal. Important breakthroughs have been made. In this book we will look at these breakthroughs and at recent unified theories-theories that go by the names supergravity, superstrings, GUTs, and twistor theory. In order to understand the problem, however, we must begin at the beginning.

Book excerpt: The Future of Life: A Unified Theory of Evolution represents the first comprehensive formulation of the hypothesis that evolution is the unifying force underlying the dynamics of all processes in the universe- both organic and inorganic. In essence by combining information, decision, network and quantum theory, it is demonstrated that an overarching evolutionry process shapes the spectrum of life and all phenomena in the universe, beyond Darwin's original biological theory.

Book excerpt: This book offers an original hypothesis capable of unifying evolution in the physical universe with evolution in biology; herewith it lays the conceptual foundations of “transdisciplinary unified theory”. The rationale for the hypothesis is presented first; then the theoretical framework is outlined, and thereafter it is explored in regard to quantum physics, physical cosmology, micro- and macro-biology, and the cognitive sciences (neurophysiology, psychology, with attention to anomalous phenomena as well). The book closes with a variety of studies, both by the author and his collaborators, sketching out the implications of the hypothesis in regard to brain dynamics, cosmology, the concept of space, phenomena of creativity, and the prospects for the elaboration of a mature transdisciplinary unified theory. The Foreword is written by philosopher of science Arne Naess, and the Afterword is contributed by neuroscientist Karl Pribram.

Purchase yours today and satisfy your inquisitive curiosity. - Why are scientist unable to find a unified theory of everything? Why does Einstein's Special and General Relativity fail to explain the actual galactic rotational speed? Is it because of errors in Einstein's Relativity Theories? - Do you really believe in the Big Bang and the Expanding Universe Theories? What happens when both fails? Do we revert to original "Static" Universe Theory (of Dynamic Equilibrium) prior to Einstein? - What is the true source of gravity? Is gravity a pull or push force or both? How does gravity work? What is dark matter, and dark energy? Are they placeholders for something else? What is Quantum Gravity? - What is the "fabric" of space? Why is space predominately flat and yet curved around ordinary matter? Is space void or occupied with particles? - Are you really satisfied with what astrophysicists tell you? If yes, then continue with what you are doing. - If not, then read this book and see a whole new perspective to reality: "The Cosmological Balance Universe: A Unified Theory." This book answers all these questions and more... Science demands progressive advancement in our understanding of the universe. This book introduces that potential sought after hypothesis, proposes mathematical resolutions to several physics and cosmology dilemmas, challenges several famous theories, clears away obstacles, paves the way by adequately explaining new concepts, and announces a simple yet unified theory in the Cosmological Balance Universe. A theory that presents unique out of the box concepts and explains the existence of the visible and the invisible parts of our universe and describes how each side's destiny depends on the other. It opens the door for pseudoscience ideas to make science take the next great leap of progress. This book consolidates all the equations and principles behind the Cosmological Balance Universe theory, the Unified Theory of Everything. Many have stood on the shoulders of Einstein for fame and fortune but not for the benefit of humanity, Sir Roger Penrose, Stephen Hawking, George Lemaitre, and Edwin Hubble for instance. You see I do not agree with the Big Bang Theory! I refuted it in this book. Let me explain. Einstein's work is purely the "physics of light" primarily invented to solve Mercury's orbital anomaly about the sun, applicable only to the function of light waves and particles emitted from one hub, the sun, but not necessarily applicable to the universe, let alone the galaxy. Fr. George Lemaitre's work, on the other hand, is the "physics of lucifer" intended to redesign God's creation ("solve et coagula"), justified by misread observations from Hubble, where both ignored the trajectories and vectors of all matter, light, and gravity (per Einstein) and concluded that everything must have originated from one central point (the big bang singularity). Nonsense and wrong! This is like saying all the starlight emanating from the Milky Way Galaxy comes from the center massive black hole, when we know in fact all the starlight comes from billions of separate stars. There is not one central hub, but innumerable hubs (black and white holes) throughout the universe, and therefore the big bang never happened!Needless to say, NASA is finding more and more evidence of material in the universe that are older than the timeline of the Big Bang theory. So, if there was a beginning of the universe, it would have been an empty universe composed entirely of space, without the presence of any ordinary matter as we know it or its particles. This empty universe was the original playground the "angels" require as they have no physical body, nor eyes, and are but pure intellectual beings that only need an area to move about and time to exist. It is the battle between good and evil angels that caused God to create matter.

And could we create our own? What if you could become God, with the ability to build a whole new universe? As startling as it sounds, modern physics suggests that within the next two decades, scientists may be able to perform this seemingly divine feat-to concoct an entirely new baby universe, complete with its own physical laws, star systems, galaxies, and even intelligent life. A Big Bang in a Little Room takes the reader on a journey through the history of cosmology and unravels-particle by particle, theory by theory, and experiment by experiment-the ideas behind this provocative claim made by some of the most respected physicists alive today. Beyond simply explaining the science, A Big Bang in a Little Room also tells the story of the people who have been laboring for more than thirty years to make this seemingly impossible dream a reality. What has driven them to continue on what would seem, at first glance, to be a quixotic quest? This mind-boggling book reveals that we can nurse other worlds in the tiny confines of a lab, raising a daunting prospect: Was our universe, too, brought into existence by a daring creator?

Book excerpt: A mesmerizing challenge to orthodox cosmology with powerful implications not only for cosmology itself but also for our notions of time, God, and human nature -- with a new Preface addressing the latest developments in the field. Far-ranging and provocative, The Big Bang Never Happened is more than a critique of one of the primary theories of astronomy -- that the universe appeared out of nothingness in a single cataclysmic explosion ten to twenty billion years ago. Drawing on new discoveries in particle physics and thermodynamics as well as on readings in history and philosophy, Eric J. Lerner confronts the values behind the Big Bang theory: the belief that mathematical formulae are superior to empirical observation; that the universe is finite and decaying; and that it could only come into being through some outside force. With inspiring boldness and scientific rigor, he offers a brilliantly orchestrated argument that generates explosive intellectual debate.

Book excerpt: A respected physics professor and author breaks down the great debate over the Big Bang and the continuing quest to understand the fate of the universe. Today, the Big Bang is so entrenched in our understanding of the cosmos that to doubt it would seem crazy. But as Paul Halpern shows in Flashes of Creation, just decades ago its mere mention caused sparks to fly. At the center of the debate were Russian American physicist George Gamow and British astrophysicist Fred Hoyle. Gamow insisted that a fiery explosion explained how the elements of the universe were created. Attacking the idea as half-baked, Hoyle countered that the universe was engaged in a never-ending process of creation. The battle was fierce. In the end, Gamow turned out to be right -- mostly -- and Hoyle, along with his many achievements, is remembered for giving the theory the silliest possible name: "The Big Bang." Halpern captures the brilliance of both thinkers and reminds us that even those proved wrong have much to teach us about boldness, imagination, and the universe itself.
