Neil Armstrong had avoided that crater and safely landed away from it. The crater was the 180 meter diameter West Crater. After setting foot on the Moon, he had expected to see the rim of that large crater. But he could not find any such crater in the same direction where it was supposed to be. Instead he had seen a small crater in that direction. He had visited the small crater and had found its diameter to be about 30 meters. Before landing the astronauts had not seen any crater other than the football field sized crater. Then how did the small crater happen to come in between? This book purports to explain this with a well-researched and proven theory. The fact is that the crater he had seen before landing and the crater he had visited were one and the same. As it happens to all Earth-based objects on reaching the Moon, the dimensions of the Apollo 11 astronauts, their spacecraft and all the other objects they had carried along with them had expanded by a factor of ten. The 60 foot tall Neil Armstrong, who did not know that he had expanded, had underestimated the crater, 180 meters in diameter, as a mere 30 meter diameter crater. How it is the whole world missed this fantastic phenomenon?
