Download or read book Splash written by Rebecca Kidd and published by Balboa Press. This book was released on 2017-05-30 with total page 38 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Embark on an enthralling journey with our lively hero in "Splash I Love Being a Raindrop," a delightful children's picture book. This adventure book for kids weaves an enchanting tale about Splash, a spirited raindrop, and his friends Drip, Drop, and Spray. They've been eagerly waiting for their chance to experience the grand earth adventure. Filled with joy and anticipation, Splash "rains" down to Earth, embarking on thrilling adventures that beautifully illustrate the life cycle of water. Splash's story isn't just an adventure—it's an educational book for kids highlighting the importance of water. With each page turned, young readers aged 3-8 learn about water's essential role in our world, from nourishing plants to quenching the thirst of all creatures. With fun-filled activities at the end of the book, children can further engage with the lessons learned, sparking curiosity and enhancing understanding. "Splash I Love Being a Raindrop" transcends the traditional storytelling in children's literature, offering a unique blend of fun, education, and spiritual exploration. It encourages readers to appreciate nature, embracing the miracles found in our daily life. In this joy-filled narrative, children realize their significance and uniqueness, fostering a sense of self-worth essential for their growth. This book stands proudly among inspirational children's books like "Pearl the Raindrop," "Nature Stories: Little Raindrop," "Over and Under the Rainforest," and "Bruce's Big Storm." It bears a similar uplifting spirit and encourages a positive attitude toward life, paralleling classics such as "It's a Small World," "Oh, The Places You'll Go," and "What do you do With an Idea?". The concept of Splash's story was born from the author's contemplative moments by a mountain stream, exploring ideas of life, adventure, and even reincarnation. This story about a raindrop's earth adventures and eventual return to the heavens is a gentle introduction to the concept of life cycles and transformations. "Splash I Love Being a Raindrop" invites young readers into a world of joy, wonder, and learning, providing an enriching reading experience beyond mere entertainment. Through Splash's journey, children are taught the value of water, the beauty of nature, and the possibility of life's grand adventure continuing in ways we might least expect.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Adventures of Droppy" is the first of the picture book series that takes the young children of ages 5 and up to different adventures of Droppy, the water drop In this first book, Droppy meets with drops of different liquids, like milk and honey. He wants to mix with them to get "big". He may not be successful in every try, but he found a solution that gets all drops together. Different liquids with different densities will not mix. They can create layers of liquids when they are put on top of each other. Liquids with different densities, is an interesting and fun experiment for people of all ages. The experiment can be implemented with different liquids, such as, milk, water, oil, honey or molasses. Use clear cups, or tubes for observation First, try to see how water mixes with milk. Then, slowly add the other liquids you found at home, last observe how liquids move to take their places according to their densities. I have a BS degree in physics. After I had my three children, I wanted to learn more about young children and got my associate degree in Early Childhood Development. Currently I am working on my Fine Art Degree at a local college.
