The idea was originally conceived in 2014 when the antics of Violet, who had just turned three years old inspired the first story of 'Violet, The Fox and Alfie.' and from then on, subsequent stories evolved. Many of Violet's adventures include our four children's family pets (all dogs) and with whom Violet has had strong connections. Violet came into our family as a twelve week old puppy and was officially named and registered as Miss 'Violet Havoc'. At that time no one could have perceived that some of her antics would one day find themselves as the basis of children's stories. Violet was born with a mischievous and active mind and her second name 'Havoc', seemed somehow to personify the character she became and still remains to this day. Extremely inquisitive, of great intelligence and, single-mindedness. Whatever goes on, Violet always appears in the thick of it!
