Her intentions had always been good and had made good on her vow to sell the necklace which meant nothing to her now, relative to the life of her friend. She feared there was nothing or no one that could save him. As long as he was alive, there was still hope and she would offer her prayers to go along with that hope. What would their friendship be like from this day forward? The only one that knew the answer to that question was God. She would wait as long as it took for the answer to her prayer.
