Dieses bietet Präventionsmöglichkeiten, um häusliche Gewalt im Kindes- und Jugendalter vorzubeugen und Kinderrechte zu stärken. Häufig verstehen Menschen unter häuslicher Gewalt nur die physischen Verletzungen eines Kindes oder Jugendlichen. Dabei gibt es auch andere schwerwiegende Formen von Gewalt. Bei Formen der psychischen Gewalt oder bei Formen von Vernachlässigung bleiben meist keine direkt beobachtbaren Verletzungen zurück und werden daher oft von der Gesellschaft bagatellisiert. Es ist festzustellen, dass inzwischen 85 Prozent der Eltern in Deutschland eine Erziehung ohne Gewalt anstreben und 75 Prozent die Gewalt gegen Kinder als Tatbestand der Körperverletzung ansehen. Dennoch gilt bei etwa 60 Prozent der Eltern eine Ohrfeige immer noch als Erziehungsmaßnahme. "Gewalt gegen Kinder ist weit verbreitet - kein Land und keine Gesellschaft ist frei davon". Jedes zweite Kind auf dieser Welt zwischen zwei und 17 Jahren ist von einer Form von Gewalt betroffen und häufig wird diese von Schutzbefohlenen ausgeübt. Daher möchte ich mich im Folgenden mit dem Thema von häuslicher Gewalt gegen Kinder und Jugendliche beschäftigen, da es aktuell leider noch in der Gesellschaft ein verbreitetes Phänomen darstellt und aufzeigen, welche Möglichkeiten es gibt, dieser vorzubeugen.
