It wasn’t made just because I wanted to simply share my story. I made this book because I feel deep down my heart it tells me, somebody needs to hear it. I believe and have a strong feeling somewhere out there people needs to hear it. When I see and read someone struggling with depression and don't know how to deal with it, it breaks my heart painfully. I have seen how much they suffer from inside. I can relate to where they are. I often tell to myself, "if they only know how to survive and manage it.".., but I cannot simply tell anyone directly on how to do it because people tend to believe what they only know. They are too focus on what they know and heard and probably believe on it because of what they experienced. I know being a sufferer you can hardly pick up opinions from other people because what matters to you is how much you struggle inside, how painful it is to carry day by day, believing to yourself that nobody can relate to you except you and the people who struggle with it. We may have different experiences in life, maybe yours is too painful than mine but my experiences with depression taught me many things in life. I have seen how much I have hated myself to how much I APPRECIATE the PAIN. I was begging for cure for so long that I dig deep down to my core being on what's really happening to me. I was screaming inside how painful it is to carry. I have seen myself how much I have suffered from depression. I dealt with it like a tortured one but still tried my very best to stand up and pretend to look normal. Depression eats me whole. I was being consumed by It, "the all of me", to the point of reading the word PAIN aches my heart painfully. This pain that I have been through is too much to handle on my own. So I look for an answer forcefully on how to be better. Learning and adjusting myself took me years to fully manage myself. And in those processes, life teaches me lessons I never knew I could understand things clearly and passionately. These 15 HIDDEN SECRETS of mine on Beating Depression On Your Own are my experiences that I wanted to share to you on how I have survived depression and managed it without the help of any doctors or any medicinal drugs. I have survived the darkness of it and I wanted to share to you my Hidden Secrets that I have never shared to anyone on how I do it. In this book, I tell everything. If you suffer from depression find every possible way that could help you release from this disease. Inside I explained everything.

Book excerpt: “If you’ve ever wondered why we keep secrets and what motivates us to spill them, look no further. Michael Slepian has spent the past decade studying the psychology of secrets, and is ready to reveal his findings to the world.”—Adam Grant, #1 New York Times bestselling author of Think Again “The Secret Life of Secrets gracefully blends engaging stories with compelling science.”—Sonja Lyubomirsky, University of California professor and author of The How of Happiness Think of a secret that you’re keeping from others. It shouldn’t take long; behavioral scientist Michael Slepian finds that, on average, we are keeping as many as thirteen secrets at any given time. His research involving more than 50,000 participants from around the world shows that the most common secrets include lies we’ve told, ambitions, addictions, mental health challenges, hidden relationships, and financial struggles. Our secrets can weigh heavily upon us. Yet the burden of secrecy, Slepian argues, rarely stems from the work it takes to keep a secret hidden. Rather, the weight of our secrets comes from carrying them alone, without the support of others. Whether we are motivated to protect our reputation, a relationship, a loved one’s feelings, or some personal or professional goal, one thing is clear: Holding back some part of our inner world is often lonely and isolating. But The Secret Life of Secrets shows you that it doesn’t have to be. Filled with fresh insight into one of the most universal—yet least understood—aspects of human behavior, The Secret Life of Secrets sheds a fascinating new light on questions like: At what age do children develop the cognitive capacity for secrecy? Do all secrets come with the same mental load? How can we reconcile our secrets with our human desires to relate, connect, and be known? When should we confess our secrets? Who makes for the ideal confidant? And can keeping certain types of secrets actually enhance our well-being? Drawing on over a decade of original research, The Secret Life of Secrets reveals the surprising ways that secrets pervade our lives, and offers science-based strategies that make them easier to live with. The result is a rare window into the inner workings of our minds, our relationships, and our sense of who we are.

Book excerpt: "Deserves a spot on the shelf next to the most beloved children's classics—yes, even The Secret Garden." —Shelf Awareness, Starred Review Described as "reminiscent of the Chronicles of Narnia" in a starred review, The Secret Horses of Briar Hill shows readers everywhere that there is color in our world—they just need to know where to look. There are winged horses that live in the mirrors of Briar Hill hospital—the mirrors that reflect the elegant rooms once home to a princess, now filled with sick children. Only Emmaline can see the creatures. It is her secret. One morning, Emmaline climbs over the wall of the hospital’s abandoned gardens and discovers something incredible: a white horse with a broken wing has left the mirror-world and entered her own. The horse, named Foxfire, is hiding from a dark and sinister force—a Black Horse who hunts by colorless moonlight. If Emmaline is to keep him from finding her new friend, she must surround Foxfire with treasures of brilliant shades. But where can Emmaline find color in a world of gray? A Kirkus Reviews Best Book of 2016 "Endearing characters, metaphors for life and death, and a slow revelation of the horrors of war give this slim novel a surprising amount of heft."—Booklist, Starred Review "In clear, gripping, flawless prose . . . this exquisite, beautifully illustrated middle-grade novel explodes with raw anguish, magic and hope, and readers will clutch it to their chests and not want to let go."—Shelf Awareness, Starred Review "Reminiscent of the Chronicles of Narnia, Elizabeth Goudge, or a child's version of Life of Pi. . . . Readers will love this to pieces." —Kirkus Reviews, Starred Review "Magical, terrifying, and full of heart. Open these pages, and ride true."—Newbery Honor-winning author Kathi Appelt "A remarkable book. Astonishing!"—Michael Morpurgo, author of War Horse

This book is useful in the deepest possible sense.” —Rachel Pollack, author of Seventy-Eight Degrees of Wisdom Bringing imagery and intuition into a course of study of the tarot, Unlocking the Secret Language of Tarot sets itself apart from other tarot books by teaching you how to translate the pictorial symbolism from one deck to another, strengthening your ability to recognize specific icons in any deck and in the world around you. Written by two of the consummate authorities on tarot in the world, Ruth Ann and Wald Amberstone, this book reveals the hidden current of symbolic meanings and connections in the tarot, unlocking the secrets of the cards to help illuminate every reader’s path in life.
