Book excerpt: Diplomarbeit aus dem Jahr 2003 im Fachbereich Soziale Arbeit / Sozialarbeit, Note: 1,3, Evangelische Hochschule Rheinland-Westfalen-Lippe (FB Sozialpädagogik), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In meiner Arbeit möchte ich aufzeigen, wie eine Zusammenarbeit unter den verschiedenen Institutionen zum Nutzen für psychisch Kranke aussehen kann und dabei besonders die Erkenntnisse und Entwicklungen der Sozial- und Gemeindepsychiatrie in den vergangenen 25 Jahren, das heißt seit der Psychiatrie-Enquête, einbeziehen. Neben der reinen Bestandsaufnahme, in welchen Tätigkeitsfeldern ein Sozialpädagoge in der Gemeindepsychiatrie beschäftigt sein kann, will ich folgende Aspekte beleuchten: Wie sieht die Entwicklung bis zum jetzigen Stand in Deutschland aus? Dabei werde ich aufzeigen, wie die Entwicklung von der instituts- zur personenbezogenen Psychiatrie in Gang gesetzt wurde, verbunden mit einem Überblick über die Situation vor und nach der Tätigkeit der Enquête-Kommission und deren Forderungen. Daraus wird sich ergeben, dass leider nur ein Teil der Forderungen umgesetzt werden konnte, was durchaus nicht nur finanzielle Gründe hatte. Soweit die Forderungen umgesetzt werden konnten, werde ich Art, Weise und Umfang dieser Umsetzung darstellen. Vor diesem Hintergrund werde ich im Bereich der gemeindenahen Arbeit zeigen, unter welchen Bedingungen sozialpädagogische Arbeit stattfindet. Dabei werde ich auch auf die gesetzlichen Grundlagen, Finanzierung und Ausgestaltung eingehen. Einige Tätigkeitsfelder werde ich an Beispielen erläutern. Damit der Sozialpädagoge sich in diesen Tätigkeitsfeldern sinnvoll und kompetent einbringen kann, benötigt er einen Fundus an fachlichen Kenntnissen und eine Persönlichkeit, die wegen der Tätigkeit in diesem sensiblen Bereich besonders gefestigt, ja geschult sein sollte.
