Presenta un conjunto de diez principios para el uso de los bosques y los árboles a fin de promover una adaptación transformativa, que fueron desarrollados con expertos del Centro de Investigación Forestal Internacional y Centro Internacional de Investigación Agroforestal (CIFOR-ICRAF) y otros socios. En él se describen las consecuencias normativas de cada principio y se utilizan ejemplos de diversos ecosistemas forestales y prácticas de gestión para ilustrar su aplicación en la práctica.
