This book is designed for both new and mature believers to grow in the knowledge of the Holy Spirit and be super-charged with power to walk their Christian life in victory! The book is a natural progressive flow of growing in the Spirit by manifesting all of the fruits and gifts of the Spirit and becoming a vital member of the body of Christ, the church. The chapters in the book deal with fruit bearing, seeking God, growing in God, flowing in the Spirit, loving in the Spirit, being a spiritual person in the Spirit, having more faith in the Spirit, a deeper relationship with God in the Spirit, and also chapters on preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom and building the Kingdom of God on earth. The main concept of the book is that in real life, we are flying and soaring through a spiritual type of space that lifts us up above the natural realm of this world, and that we have direct access to God through His Spirit. Also, one of the main things that the book does is challenge you to memorize just one Bible verse at a time, and work out that one verse in your life. The book also challenges you to adopt a new consistent prayer life, as well as monitor your thought and word life for a period of 21 days. I know that you will enjoy the book and grow much in God. It will especially make your Christian walk seem exciting and interesting by the sensation that you are (Soaring through Spirit Space).

Suddenly, the three astronauts aboard the spacecraft heard a loud bang. A strong vibration rumbled through the crew cabin. There had been an explosion in the oxygen tank. More than 200,000 miles from Earth, Apollo 13 was in grave danger. The astronauts had planned to land on the Moon, but now they had a new mission: survival. Author Henry M. Holden delivers the gripping details of how three astronauts, with the help of NASA scientists on Earth, turned a story of disaster into one of triumph.

Book excerpt: The exploration of space was seen as the greatest adventure of the Twentieth Century, while in the Twenty First Century space-based services have become an integral part of our daily lives. Although it is not often recognised, Australia has had its part to play in setting the world on the road to the stars and was one of the earliest nations to launch its own satellite. Today, the country is one of the largest users of space-based services. This revised and updated edition of Space Australia tells the story of Australia's involvement with space activities, from the earliest rocketeers to the latest satellite projects. It describes the vision, high hopes and achievements of professional space scientists and engineers, in both the civil and defence spheres, as well as the inspired amateurs and the new-breed of young space entrepreneurs who want to contribute to Australia's space future. The book also highlights the challenges of maintaining an Australian commitment to space activities through changing political and economic circumstances.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The first English translation of a classic treatise on how the Tibetan practice of Dzogchen, or Great Perfection, is in fact the culmination of the path of Mahayana Buddhism. Rongzom Chökyi Zangpo wrote this treatise in the eleventh century during the renaissance of Buddhism in Tibet that was spurred by the influx of new translations of Indian Buddhist texts, tantras, and esoteric transmissions from India. For political and religious reasons, adherents of the “new schools” of Tibetan Buddhism fostered by these new translations cast the older tradition of lineages and transmissions as impure and decadent. Rongzompa composed the work translated here in order to clearly and definitively articulate how Dzogchen was very much in line with the wide variety of sutric and tantric teachings espoused by all the Tibetan schools. Using the kinds of philosophic and linguistic analyses favored by the new schools, he demonstrates that the Great Perfection is indeed the culmination and maturation of the Mahāyāna, the Great Vehicle. The central topic of the work is the notion of illusory appearance, for when one realizes deeply that all appearances are illusory, one realizes also that all appearances are in that respect equal. The realization of the equality of all phenomena is said to be the Great Perfection approach to the path, which frees one from both grasping at, and rejecting, appearances. However, for those unable to remain effortlessly within the natural state, in the final chapter Rongzompa also describes how paths with effort are included in the Great Perfection approach.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book puts forward a more considered perspective on 3D, which is often seen as a distracting gimmick at odds with artful cinematic storytelling. Owen Weetch looks at how stereography brings added significance and expressivity to individual films that all showcase remarkable uses of the format. Avatar, Gravity, The Hole, The Great Gatsby and Frozen all demonstrate that stereography is a rich and sophisticated process that has the potential to bring extra meaning to a film’s narrative and themes. Through close reading of these five very different examples, Expressive Spaces in Digital 3D Cinema shows how being sensitive to stereographic manipulation can nuance and enrich the critical appreciation of stereoscopic films. It demonstrates that the expressive placement of characters and objects within 3D film worlds can construct meaning in ways that are unavailable to ‘flat’ cinema.

A man who has been stalked by evil since childhood is living within a dark world; bound by an unseen enemy, the Adversary, and hopelessly trapped in a prison inside his own mind. Adam is unaware of his special destiny and that Watchers observe and guide events on Earth and elsewhere to provide him an opportunity to freely choose to fulfill his purpose or follow a different path. Though the Watchers give meaning to his otherwise meaningless suffering, only time will tell which path Adam will choose. Will he choose his destiny and defeat his adversary or will he surrender and join him on the Dark Path? Decree of the Watchers shares the tale of one mans journey to fulfill his extraordinary purpose with unseen help from powerful inorganic beings from another dimension.
