The problem by which the translator is challenged is to be identified primarily. The skopos, the purpose, of translation is the point in such evaluation. Such evaluation is going to show the translator's adherence to the skopos of translation , which varies according to the audience. The translator is required to transfer the same effect of the ST on its audience, in the ST situation to the TT audience in the TT situation. The strategies may be semantic, syntactic, or pragmatic. The translator's success in his mission depends on his success in carrying out the skopos of translation.
