This book was released on 2020-08-01 with total page 205 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Communist aim of proletarian hegemony in the Chinese revolution was given concrete expression through the Canton Commune—reflected in the policies and strategies that led to the uprising, in the makeup and program of the Soviet setup in Canton, and in the subsequent assessment of the revolt by the Comintern and the Chinese Communist Party. “Proletarian Hegemony” in the Chinese Revolution and the Canton Commune of 1927 describes these developments and, with the further ideological treatment given the Commune serving as a backdrop, will then examine the continuing evolution and ultimate transformation of the proletarian line and the concept of proletarian leadership in the post-1927 history of Chinese Communism. Book Synopsis Ted Grant Selected Works by : Ted Grant
Download or read book Ted Grant Selected Works written by Ted Grant and published by Marxist Books. This book was released on 2018-12-20 with total page 433 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The reissue of the first volume of Ted Grant's Selected Works marks a new stage in making his ideas more widely known to a new generation of Marxists. Stalinism may no longer be as pressing an issue as it was in the latter half of the 20th century, but it is far more than a theoretical/historical question—today’s situation is deeply impacted by the events of the past. In the post-World War II period, Marxists had to explain the phenomenon of Stalinism, which was no longer confined to the degenerated workers’ state of the USSR, but was spreading around the world. While every other leader of the Fourth International lost their bearings on this and every other fundamental question—veering to ultraleftism, opportunism, reformism, and even the extreme right—Ted stayed the course, sticking to the fundamentals of Marxism to navigate these uncharted waters. His writings on these momentous and complex events are a textbook example of how to apply the ideas of Lenin and Trotsky to the changing world around us, a “must-read” for all those who wish to master the Marxist method. By Ted Grant with an updated introduction by John Peterson.

Download or read book Foundations of Leninism written by J. V. Stalin and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2019-11-29 with total page 89 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The foundations of Leninism is a big subject. To exhaust it a whole volume would be required. Indeed, a whole number of volumes would be required. Naturally, therefore, my lectures cannot be an exhaustive exposition of Leninism; at best they can only offer a concise synopsis of the foundations of Leninism. Nevertheless, I consider it useful to give this synopsis, in order to lay down some basic points of departure necessary for the successful study of Leninism. Lenin was a Marxist, and Marxism is, of course, the basis of his world outlook. But from this it does not at all follow that an exposition of Leninism ought to begin with an exposition of the foundations of Marxism. To expound Leninism means to expound the distinctive and new in the works of Lenin that Lenin contributed to the general treasury of Marxism and that is naturally connected with his name. Only in this sense will I speak in my lectures of the foundations of Leninism.
