Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: When confronted with a sudden and tragic loss, we are catapulted into a world of darkness. Everything that once held meaning is challenged, and it becomes necessary to redefine the largest and smallest concepts of life. Even the simplest everyday words no longer retain their meaning. Words can become elaborate worlds of their own. Season of the Fallen Sun is one mother’s journey through word worlds like beginnings, listen, time, reconstruction, respite, and hope. It is a story of how the exploration of those worlds can impact healing and recovery, even at a time when healing and recovery seem inconceivable. While this is a personal story, it is simultaneously a universal human story. Every human being unwillingly buys a ticket on the ride called heartbreak. While every person’s journey when confronted with heartbreak, is different; there are aspects that will at the very least, feel the same. Although life will never be the same, in the places where it is different, we can still find life and living.

Cruel and powerful dragons have seized control of Ansalon, dividing the continent among them and demanding tribute from the people they have enslaved. Heroes of the past have gone to their well-deserved rest, forever revered for their bravery during the Chaos War and the War of the Lance. Now, new heroes rise to take their place, prepared to continue the battle against evil. War awaits them—a war more terrible than any on Krynn have known. Change—for good or for ill—comes to the world. A violent magical storm sweeps over Ansalon, bringing blood and fire, death and destruction. Out of the tumult rises a strange, mystic young woman, whose destiny is bound up with that of Krynn. She alone knows the truth about the future and its strange, inextricable ties to a terrifying mystery in Krynn’s past.

Book excerpt: Don’t miss this prequel to the hit crime series and Netflix film Luther: The Fallen Sun starring Idris Elba—written by the Edgar Award–winning creator and sole writer of the show! A “gripping, taut” (Guillermo del Toro) thriller featuring homicide detective John Luther, “who is intelligent and almost freakishly intuitive [and] belongs not only to the Sherlock Holmes tradition but also to the newer crime-fiction model elaborated by Thomas Harris in his novels Red Dragon, The Silence of the Lambs, and Hannibal” (The New York Times). Is Luther a force for good or a man hell-bent on self-destruction? Meet Detective Chief Inspector John Luther. He’s a homicide detective with an extraordinary case-clearance rate. He’s obsessive, instinctive, and intense. Nobody who ever stood at his side has a bad word to say about him. And yet there are rumors that Luther is bad—not corrupt, but tormented. After years of chasing the most depraved criminals in London’s gritty underworld, he seethes with a hidden fury he can barely control, making him do things any other detective wouldn’t and shouldn’t do. A compulsively readable novel by the writer hailed by The Guardian as “Britain’s own Stephen King,” this is the story of the serial killer case that tore Luther’s personal and professional relationships apart and propelled him over the precipice—beyond fury, beyond vengeance, all the way to the other side of the law.

We know by scripture and experience that a loving God who never sleeps and is not influenced by the concept of time is accessible to us at any time and any place. Yet we also know that our life, our world, is one of seasons. Our days, our bodies, our emotions, and even the ease with which we find God are ever changing in nature and intensity according to weather, seasons, sunlight, and time.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I chose my title Fallen from a Tree because I fell from my tree stand, and so to speak, Adam and Eve also fell from a tree in the Garden of Eden.I enjoy archery hunting and had no idea what was about to happen. My tree stand always was safe. But suddenly, the tree stand broke, and I was falling from fifteen feet high. My body fell helplessly to the ground. I landed on my shoulder blades. I had the wind knocked out of me. I reached for my phone. The battery was low and only had 5 percent battery life. I called my friends for help.At the hospital, I was given a CAT scan and X-rays. I had five broken ribs. Two days later, I started coughing and passed out while my brother Michael went for a nurse for help. I was dying. This book is about my near-death experience and my journey to visit God and heaven. I want to be able to share my experience and pain with people who have illnesses and doubts about God and heaven. God and heaven are real!I want to be encouraging to all people-those who are dying and those who have illnesses. It was a struggle for me to rehabilitate. I did not know if I would be able to walk, talk, eat, and drink and had to learn how to do these things all over again. I developed an understanding for handicapped people and those who have trouble communicating thoughts and language.Rehabilitation was very important to my recovery process. I worked very hard, wanting to succeed and give strength to my body and mind. I ended up having a total of eleven broken ribs. It was very painful to move.God wrote this book for us to share. He is the author of the book, and He wanted me to be coauthor. I fell from my tree stand and visited God. It was an amazing journey!

Through a series of curious accidents, Aubrey stumbles onto the surface and discovers a real paradise off limits: a pristine planet where humans are hunted and killed by a mysterious Park Service. Now, Aubrey must decide between his only friend, his true love, and his imprisoned people, as he struggles to find the courage to stand up to evil, no matter how pretty its face" -- Amazon.com.
