Book excerpt: It is perilous to be under the captivity of Satan or dine with him. The end is always bitter. But it is what Satan wants. He wants you to be under his supervision and control. But it is disastrous. The best option available to all is to lose his grip and be saved. Your salvation matters to God. He wants you in saved hands. He doesn't want you to perish. This is what this book is all about. The book gives deep insight to what lead Satan to burst into tears and cry. You are uniquely created in God's image and expected to live in freedom devoid of satanic attack. This book spells out how you can multiply the tears of the enemy and live like a king/queen. There are rules that guide life to righteousness which is the foundation of standing tall in life. The move to make enemy cry is not easy. Enemies are battle ready so that you fail in life. They mean to win every battle against you. They hate failing in battle, this is the reason they put pressure on their victims until he/she surrenders. You must wake up and put on a good fight to silence the enemy and rule over them. This book will give you guidelines to douse their threat and make them bow down and bow out! No agenda of darkness against you shall prevail against you. The effort of the enemy shall be a waste, because the Lord is upon you. With this book: The Lord shall destroy evil gadgets enemies use to remote your destiny. You shall experience divine deliverance from satanic attack. You shall find safety under the wings of the Lord. You shall overcome every challenge that comes your way. You shall experience sound health and unlimited favor of the Lord. You shall pursue and claim all abandoned dreams. The Lord shall fill you with wisdom and be freed from satanic captivity. Holy Spirit shall comfort you in all direction. The Lord shall silence enemies that want you to be in sorrow. Every yoke of poverty troubling you shall break. The strongman/woman after you shall rise no more. The Lord shall arise and surprise you with miracles. This is the time to multiply the tears of the enemy and make them sad. Don't give them second thought, use this book, and let God bless you beyond expectation.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Using a framework based on J. L. Austin’s understanding of performative speech and Angela Esterhammer’s work on how things are done with words in Milton’s and Blake’s poetry, this study provides an extended close reading of the speech acts of characters in Blake’s epic poem Milton. With the exception of what we learn about in the part of the poem known as the Bard’s Song, Blake’s Milton is dedicated to providing an incredibly detailed account of the numerous facets of the instant of time immediately prior to apocalypse, an instant in which Milton is the protagonist, and Blake himself a participant. This study explores how in the poem sacred history proceeds towards and through the instant by means of the speech act. This extended commentary is intended for not just Blake scholars but also the common reader who wishes to approach Blake’s brief epic for the first time. For scholars, this monograph offers a full account of a crucial but previously unexplored theme in the scholarship about Milton. For the common reader, it offers a comprehensive introduction to what Northrop Frye called ‘one of the most gigantic imaginative achievements in English poetry’.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In 1714, the 29 year-old Johann Sebastian Bach was promoted to the position of concertmaster at the ducal court of Weimar. This post required him for the first time in his already established career to produce a regular stream of church cantatas-one cantata every four weeks. Among the most significant works of this period is Ich hatte viel Bekümmernis in meinem Herzen (Cantata 21). Generally known in English as "I had much affliction," Cantata 21 draws from several psalms and the Book of Revelations and offers a depiction of the spiritual ascent of the soul from intense tribulation to joy and exaltation. Although widely performed and loved by musicians, Cantata 21 has endured much criticism from scholars and critics who claim that the piece lacks organizational clarity and stylistic coherence. In Tears into Wine, renowned Bach scholar Eric Chafe challenges the scholarly consensus, arguing that Cantata 21 is an exceptionally carefully designed work, and that it displays a convergence of musical structure and theological purpose that is paradigmatic of Bach's sacred work as a whole. Drawing on a wide range of Lutheran theological writing, Chafe shows that Cantata 21 reaches beyond the scope of the individual liturgical occasion to voice a breadth of meaning that encompasses much of the core of Lutheran thought. Chafe artfully demonstrates that instead of simply presenting a musical depiction of the soul's journey from sorrow to bliss, Cantata 21 expresses the various stages of God's revelation and their impact on the believing soul. As a result, Chafe reveals that Cantata 21 has a formal design that mirrors Lutheran belief in unfolding revelation, with the final movement representing the work's "crown"--the goal toward which all of the earlier movements are directed. Complete with full text translations of the cantata and the liturgical readings that would have accompanied it at the first performance, Tears into Wine is a monumental book that is ideally suited for Bach scholars and students, as well as those generally interested in the relationship between theology and music.

But how accurate are the popular images of Satan? How--and why--did this rather minor biblical character morph into the very embodiment of evil? T.J. Wray and Gregory Mobley guide readers on a journey to retrace Satan's biblical roots. Engaging and informative, The Birth of Satan is a must read for anyone who has ever wondered about the origins of the Devil.

Book excerpt: This is my 16th book in a series of books under the heading of “Christianity and the Human Brain”. It is about my continuing love to our lord Savior Jesus Christ and for my special passion for Neurosurgery. I am grateful I am able to fully commit to Neuroscience and my Neurosurgery patients. It is the collection of roses of love on our journey that transforms where we are in the planet earth into a heavenly garden. Two decades ago. I felt compelled to begin sharing the synopsis of my journey as a committed Christian Neurosurgeon and Anesthesiologist, actively practicing patients’ care in America close to four decades. Indeed, as many have experienced, our journey is full of stories that put demand on us for the coming new generations, to write about as our deep faith in Christianity opens our own eyes to see, our ears to hear, our minds to reflect and our hands to write. My greatest honor is to take the reader through more of my roses of love journey in my life, in Medicine with Neurosurgery patients, Residents and Trainee, in Christmas, through my Deep Spiritual Reflections, personal views and healthcare matters with living examples. The book contains eleven sections distributed in 89 chapters covering topics including love and Roses, Thanksgiving, Deep reflections, Way to Soon, My Christmas, Christmas with My Patients, Special Christmas, Human Trafficking, Christian Persecution, Synopsis in My Medical Journey, Healthcare, Patients’ Testimonial, stories and Patients’ quotes. The present book compliments my previous 15 books. My prayer is to be a positive influence to you and yours, in our Lord Jesus Christ Name. For Thine is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory, for ever and ever Amen.
