On the one hand, there 1s question of Christianity which, under the direction of an infallible rule, has been pre served from individual eclectici'sm; and, on the other, of social philosophy, which should find, as in fact it does find, in: the sincerity of its own principles, an orthodoxy no less rigorous than that of the physical, logical and moral progress of man.
