In 1903 family moved to a prosperous farm in Johnson Co., south of Indianapolis, where all their grandchildren were born. The progenitor of this family was John Roush and Ann Roberts, who came to Kirklin Twp., Clinton Co., Ind. in 1836/37 from Clinton Co., Ohio near the town of Wilmington. Along with them came most of their children. John was born 1786 in Pennsylvania, Ann in 1791 in Kentucky or Virginia. They lived in Clark Co., Ky. before moving to Clinton Co., Ohio. Family members and descendants live in Indiana, Iowa, Virginia and elsewhere.
