Yet almost never is it linked to achievement, excellence and consistent results. Until now. In this profound book, Jamie Smart walks us through the extraordinary (and innate) process of experiencing a shift of consciousness or change of heart, first. Then cultivating the outcomes of our dreams becomes as simple as one, two, three.” – Garrett Kramer, founder of Inner Sports and author of Stillpower and The Path of No Resistance

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In the aftermath of the invasion of Afghanistan, the U.S. Agency for International Development supported the Afghan Ministry of Public Health to deliver basic healthcare to 90 percent of the population, at a cost of $4.50 a head. The program played a vital role in improving the country's health; the number of children dying before the age of five dropped by 100,000 a year. But accounting standards at the Ministry of Public Health concerned the United States Special Investigator General for Afghanistan. There was no evidence of malfeasance, nor argument about the success of the program. For all that the results were fantastic, receipts were not in order. The investigator called for the health program to be suspended because of "financial management deficiencies" at the ministry. This case illustrates a growing problem: an important and justified focus on corruption as a barrier to development has led to policy change in aid agencies that is damaging the potential for aid to deliver results. Donors have treated corruption as an issue they can measure and improve, and from which they can insulate their projects at acceptable costs by controlling processes and monitoring receipts. Results Not Receipts highlights the weak link between donors’ preferred measures of corruption and development outcomes related to our limited ability to measure the problem. It discusses the costs of the standard anti-corruption tools of fiduciary controls and centralized delivery, and it suggests a different approach to tackling the problem of corruption in development: focus on outcomes.

Using transformational coaching techniques, examples, exercises and metaphors, Jamie talks the reader through the three key changes they need to achieve the results they are after and inspire others to do the same. Based on the principles of The Clarity Coaching Model, the reader will learn how to de-congest their mind to think more clearly, make better decisions and improve performance – achieving the ‘flow’ state attributed to the results of top-flight individuals. Clearer thinking removes the stress and anxiety from decision making and allows you to focus on your goals. Rather than a step-by-step process, the reader is encouraged to form a deep understanding of themselves to awaken their inner potential and improve their innate abilities including better listening, deeper connections, more motivation and greater innovation and creativity.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Jesus routinely taught with parables and earthly stories that resonated with people’s daily experiences. His lessons were personable and memorable, and enabled his followers to grasp profound spiritual revelations of the word of God. In Do it God’s Way and Get God’s Results, Pastor Roy Bacon emulates Jesus’ approach. He entwines authentic, thought-provoking anecdotes with each chapter theme to present Biblical truths more lucidly and reveal the benefits of choosing God’s way in every aspect of life. Throughout the book, he examines two alternatives to life’s results: choosing God’s way of doing things or choosing our way. The final chapter is a brief portrait of the life of Jesus Christ, our greatest example of how to do things God’s way and get His results. Do it God’s Way and Get God’s Results is not a how-to guide for overnight success, but biblically grounded advice for obtaining God’s best, now and in your future.
