The thought of the religious ceremonies, of the public meetings, of the discussions, will perpetually recur to give them fresh earnestness in the service of God. But no one, however active, was able to take part in every one of the ceremonies and meetings of those days, and a permanent record of the Congress, from the opening until the close, will be welcomed by all without exception. Such a record is needed still more by the thousands in every land who were with us in Spirit, following as best they could the history of each day, and longing to learn in detail the story of the Congress as a whole.
