On his search for a fitting tourist, he must go to Kribi where there is not only a white, empty beach going on for miles, but also many European tourists. He meets a group of Germans and befriends them. When he begins a passionate affaire with the 23-year-old Carla – during which the two discover and act out their most secret sexual sides – the first step into a better life seems to have been made, but there are some surprises waiting for Johnny, Carla as well as the reader when, in the end, Johnny must decide between three white women.
