Verzeichnis: Die Autoren stellen die Grundlagen und Rahmenbedingungen der Rechnungslegung nach IAS und US-GAAP dar, sie zeigen jeweils auch die wichtigsten Unterschiede zur Bilanzierung nach HGB auf. Darüber hinaus unterziehen sie die Argumente, die für und gegen eine Harmonisierung der Rechnungslegung angeführt werden, einer kritischen Würdigung und weisen auf den engen Zusammenhang zwischen Kapitalmarkt und Rechnungslegung hin.
