Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This revolutionary book will explain what God wants for and from us when we petition Him for his will to manifest “on Earth as it is in Heaven,” and how to understand the difference. Do you ever feel as if, despite your spirituality and faith, something significant is missing? Most teenagers and college students, as well as tens of millions of adults, are still striving to figure out the purpose and meaning of their lives. The natural struggle for faith in something intangible can be compounded by incorrect teachings and contradictory explanations of the workings of God in our lives. How does “free will” really work? What does it mean to ask for God’s will? When things happen in life, how do you really know whether that is God’s will? Is there really any point in praying for His will if we can’t influence it? These haunting personal questions became the genesis of PUSH as Matthesius sought answers. Now, he unpacks the powerful biblical truths he learned—the result of deep revelation from discovering God and constantly seeking to know him with all his heart. PUSH is about helping you discover God’s dream for your life so you become the blessing you were meant to be. It is about helping you truly embrace the power of prayer and understand what that means instead of simply treating it as a platitude you offer when someone is struggling. This book will instill confidence and promote vision. PUSH will stir you to take action, to remain vigilant, and Pray Until Something Happens.

Book excerpt: Your Breakthrough Is Only a PUSH Away Today’s world knows little about perseverance. This is why so few people become innovators, entrepreneurs, and world-changers. In her encouraging and dynamic style, Dr. Cindy Trimm inspires you to go for it. It is one thing to read about the lives of great achievers—it is another thing to join their ranks. Learn how to: • Carry your dreams, visions, and goals “full term” and to complete fulfillment • Exercise the power of faith to overcome the impossible and release God’s supernatural purposes into your life • Resist the temptation to ‘cave’ under pressure and press on even when you don’t feel like it anymore • Empower others to fulfill their divine destinies through co-laboring with them “If you dare to believe that God has something great in store for you to do, to accomplish, or to achieve, you must be prepared to persevere in spite of your hardship, setbacks, and challenges in order to realize your dreams and accomplish your goals. Book excerpt: "Some churches now advertise courses on how to pray. How ridiculous! That is like giving a course on how to fall in love." —A. W. Tozer Tozer understood prayer as few do: as a way of life. Now readers can share that same grand vision. Prayer combines the best of Tozer on prayer into one volume. Tozer was captured by the great wonder of God, and he regarded prayer as the primary means of coming into His presence. But if our everyday life is filled with the barrenness of busyness and there is no serious urgency to pray, we forfeit the wonder of being conformed to the image of Christ and knowing our God more intimately—the true Christian life. Prayer is doable. God is accessible. And Tozer provides the wisdom and encouragement to help us encounter Him daily. With commentary and reflection questions provided by compiler W.L. Seaver, Prayer takes our understanding of prayer to new depths and helps us have a life that prays.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Praise the Lord everyone. This book on prayer was written in dedication to my dad the late Charles D. Smith Sr. and my mom Virginia. Before my dad passed, he prophesied so many powerful words from the Lord into my life. One of the prophecies was to go get my thesis that I wrote on prayer. He said, "It shall be a best seller." Furthermore, he said to me go collect all my journals. These journals will become self-help books that will help nation upon nation. This book on prayer has been written with these prophesies in mind. Like my father, my mom devoted her life to God. She has always been my prayer partner and I thank God for her every day. She is truly a Proverbs 31 woman and a prayer warrior. Her prayers have served as a catalyst for this book and other books to be written. In addition to the prayers and prophecies of my mother and father, my grandmother taught me from a small child to pray. Up until the last time I saw her before God called her home that is what we did. I can recall standing by her hospital bed praying. Like my father, she too prophesied powerful words from the Lord into my spirit. Prayer has been instilled in me. It is out of my life of prayer and prophecy that I wrote this book, "PUSH". I pray that as you read the pages of this book that you will be educated, equipped and encouraged to keep praying until something happens. I just find myself praying all the time. The truth of about prayer is you don't have to speak it out your mouth. You can simply close your eyes, open your heart and talk to God. Just allow the spirit of the living God to have His way in your life. One of the best ways to do this is by praying without ceasing [See 1Thessalonians 5:16]. You can pray at any time or in any place. Dear reader let me tell you through the power of prayer God has done so many good things for my family and me. Now I pray God's blessings upon you as you read this book from the beginning to the end. May God deliver, heal and set you free from whatever is holding you back or standing in your pathway.

Book excerpt: A compassionate, shame-free guide for your darkest days “A one-of-a-kind book . . . to read for yourself or give to a struggling friend or loved one without the fear that depression and suicidal thoughts will be minimized, medicalized or over-spiritualized.”—Kay Warren, cofounder of Saddleback Church What happens when loving Jesus doesn’t cure you of depression, anxiety, or suicidal thoughts? You might be crushed by shame over your mental illness, only to be told by well-meaning Christians to “choose joy” and “pray more.” So you beg God to take away the pain, but nothing eases the ache inside. As darkness lingers and color drains from your world, you’re left wondering if God has abandoned you. You just want a way out. But there’s hope. In I Love Jesus, But I Want to Die, Sarah J. Robinson offers a healthy, practical, and shame-free guide for Christians struggling with mental illness. With unflinching honesty, Sarah shares her story of battling depression and fighting to stay alive despite toxic theology that made her afraid to seek help outside the church. Pairing her own story with scriptural insights, mental health research, and simple practices, Sarah helps you reconnect with the God who is present in our deepest anguish and discover that you are worth everything it takes to get better. Beautifully written and full of hard-won wisdom, I Love Jesus, But I Want to Die offers a path toward a rich, hope-filled life in Christ, even when healing doesn’t look like what you expect.

Book excerpt: What did Napoleon Bonaparte, Henry Ford, and Andrew Carnegie all have in common as the key to their success? They each had immense confidence in their goals. They left no room or quarter for failure. They had faith. Author Paul Ramseyer takes the works of Napoleon Hill, a leading expert on success, and shows readers how to apply the same principles to their faith in God. Paul discovered how to use this power to drive stage 4 cancer out of his body. He also shows the reader how the Bible commands that requests in prayer be made in faith. He goes on to explain how this required faith is the only method we have to reach our full potential. With examples drawn from the most successful men in history, Paul doesn't just tell you to have faith, but teaches how you, like they, can decide to claim it and then gives detailed instructions how you can put it to work on your behalf. Are people sick, stuck in poverty, or victims to repeating sins? He shows readers that they don't have to be. In faith, all things are possible. With the Mechanics of Faith, readers are able to see how faith works to produce in their lives the results that they have been promised. Paul Ramseyer lives in Bloomfield, Iowa. In 2006, Paul learned from the past masters of industry and technology and the Bible how to drive stage four cancer from his body and is called to teach people everywhere how they too can be overcomers and not mere victims of circumstance.

Book excerpt: Answers to Prayer - How to Ascertain the Will of God from George Muller's Narratives Prayer for Spiritual Blessing "On December 5th, however, the subject of my prayer all at once became different. I was reading Psalm lxxxi., and was particularly struck, more than at any time before, with verse 10: "Open thy month wide, and I will fill it." I thought a few moments about these words, and then was led to apply them to the case of the Orphan-House. It struck me that I had never asked the Lord for anything concerning it, except to know His will, respecting its being established or not; and I then fell on my knees and opened my mouth wide, asking Him for much. I asked in submission to His will, and without fixing a time when He should answer my petition. I prayed that He would give me a house, i. e., either as a loan, or that someone might be led to pay the rent for one, or that one might be given permanently for this object; further, I asked Him for £1000; and likewise for suitable individuals to take care of the children. Besides this, I have been since led to ask the Lord, to put into the hearts of His people to send me articles of furniture for the house, and some clothes for the children. When I was asking the petition, I was fully aware what I was doing, i. e., that I was asking for something which I had no natural prospect of obtaining from the brethren whom I know, but which was not too much for the Lord to grant."
