I was compelled as a prophet of God to address the issue. This Psychic, Prophetic Age was born as a result of the need and the times. In the church world, many true and false practitioners were taking advantage of the moment, moving about itinerantly throughout the Charismatic and Pentecostal churches. This led to a demand for instruction that could set the order aright as to what is true from what is false. I personally scoured the nation looking for sound books on the prophetic that would help me to understand who I am and how to walk out this tremendous commission. I sadly found only a few and one in particular by my friend Dr. Bill Hammond. His book, Prophets and Personal Prophecy turned my life around. He was a great inspiration for the writing of this book years later. I have since then had the privilege of being a content editor for 5 other books by another author also on the prophetic. In honor of this book's 21st anniversary, I am rereleasing it as a vintage limited edition hard copy and eBook. Almost daily I receive requests for it. There is a conspicuous tangible release of prophetic energy from the Lord to raise up true prophets to this generation and those to come. It is an exciting time to be alive! New age gurus have swept the church as well as multiple false (and highly featured) prophets. Now everyone wants to known as an apostle or prophet but God is setting the order aright, and we will once again discover, this is not a psychic age but a truly kingdom, apostolic and prophetic age.
