Book excerpt: Attract, engage, and motivate your congregation with the “Original Inspiration” Progressive Greek Grammar is designed to give pastors (and seminarians) a practical approach to integrating personal devotion and bible study with the clear understanding of the Greek New Testament. Churches (and classes), large and small, will benefit from the fresh approach and new method in this book that have been proven to increase comprehension of the Greek New Testament through progressive, inductive, and creative way of studying Greek grammar with joy. Learn to implement the true knowledge and the unaltered message of the Bible into sermons preached from the pulpit thereby unite and grow congregations. What the Reviewers Say about the Book “Finally, a grammar book that is actually useful for building sermons has arrived.” - Pastors' Weekly Forum, N.E.X.T. “I can see Jung's method replacing much of the way Greek is taught today.” - Bryan Beach “I recommend his method to anyone who has a hunger for the Word of God and a passion to see godliness and sanctification developed in his life.” - Alyssa Conner “The book makes studying the Greek language fun and exciting while simultaneously offering its students a book that is academically challenging.” - Josiah Durfee “I would recommend this to anyone like me who has a fear for learning Greek.” - Rachel Williams All developed languages express speakers' messages for the ears of listeners, but thekoine Greek language, which is used for the Bible, delivers the author's intention to the listeners' hearts. The Greek language serves as the vocal cords for God's voice and pupil that people may see the light of the Truth. Thus, Greek is the language of the mind and biblical Greek is the epitome of divine communication. There is little surprise when a translator of the Greek New Testament experiences transformation of his perception about what he is reading,God's very Word and Himself. However, learning Greek is an arduous task, and learning Greek grammar may be the greatest intellectual challenge students ever encounter. It is not because the system of the Greek language is difficult, but because it is very different from other languages such as English. Greek is a logical language used by early philosophers as well as the writers of the New Testament. Only logical explanation with progressive integration is the key for its mastery. Special Features A progressive self-study for pastors, translators and students in all levels. Every lesson comes freshly and directly from the author's classroom lectures. Teaches Greek through full logical comprehension instead of memorization. Answers ontological and morphological questions about accidence and syntax. Essential vocabularies are illustrated with mnemonics for easy memory. A practical guide to help believers translate the Bible accurately and fully. Ideal for self-study or classroom use to complete in two or three semesters.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Today for the New Testament there are more than thirty different versions in English translation alone. Churches and seminaries voice if knowing Greek is still necessary. They believe most versions are quite accurate, but we must also concern for the full understanding of the text besides accurate understanding of it. Knowing Greek and reading the Bible in the original language is much more than reading words in a book, because it allows a meeting and conversation with the original author of the Book. Thus, the main objective of translation is not only putting words into your own language but to revive the full spectrum of dynamics and meanings from the past to the present context. From the beginning I wanted to write a grammar book that was actually useful to pastors and missionaries in their fields. They tell me what they need is a working grammar book, which can actually be used to prepare sermons from the Greek New Testament and to answer people's spiritual questions through the Greek New Testament. They needed something more than a book that teaches how to parse verbs and to know declension of nouns. Thus what I believed what PGG ought to be was already in their heart for a long time. Thus, Progressive Greek Grammar was born. In Addition for the “Essential” Edition I am so glad that PGG has received warm welcome from students and pastors. Some of them were kind enough to leave excellent and helpful reviews as well that I appreciate immensely. However, I also noticed there were general readers who were neither seminarians nor pastors, yet willed to learn Greek. For them 438 pages of thick grammar book with technical annex and detailed paradigms at the back were felt heavy and negligible. Today Lisa and I feel fortunate being able to keep most of the main parts except vocabularies from PGG and to publish this “Essential” edition only in 330 pages. We hope this will help my readers to find the true truth.

This book was released on 2018-12-27 with total page 138 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "Greek Grammar: You ARE Learning Bible Greek" is not merely a progressive study course. This grammar of three volumes is a reliable guide into one's quest for an accurate understanding of Koine ("New Testament") Greek. It is the student's practical handbook on Greek; the minister's consultant for the correct application of Bible texts; the theologian's reference book for maintaining unerring exegesis in grammatical studies. Greek Grammar is the interlinear analyst's guidebook; the linguist's trusted adviser. While respecting the differing views of readers regarding their positions on personal belief and doctrine, Greek Grammar reasons with the student regarding the correct comprehension of grammar in its own context in order to allow the Greek text to explain itself. This prevents one from falling into the trap of personal interpretation based on an errant concept of a specific text in the "New Testament."Thus, Greek Grammar will not shy away from addressing such popular passages as John 1:1, John 8:58, John 20:28; 1 Timothy 3:16 and Revelation 3:14.These are just a sampling of the many texts that are covered in Volume 1 of Greek Grammar. More on John 1:1 and a proposed rule regarding the predicate nominative will be presented in this volume. In Volume 2, John 8:58 will be covered, as will Phil. 2:6 and the phrase "who gave no consideration to a seizure, namely to be equal to God." Volume 3, the final volume, will address other vital aspects of grammar as they relate to popular exegesis and commonly held beliefs. However, the bulk of Greek Grammar examines the employment of all aspects of the Greek language as one studies the profound wisdom of Bible Greek. It is an especially helpful companion to the student's Greek interlinear as he or she lays both references open side-by-side to make comparisons during that one's study periods.Greek Grammar, with its 600 pages of rich treasures will provide the Greek enthusiast with more than what is needed to study and comprehend this precious language. As an added feature, this progressive study course connects Koine (Bible Greek) with modern Greek, so that the student can discern the remarkable parallel between the two languages. You will also find Greek Grammar captivating as it considers the Koine and the Erasmian methods of pronunciation of Greek words, and you may be surprised to learn which method proves to be the most practical. If you are bold enough to start on this intrepid journey, you will gain an experience few others have dared to attempt. But if you do so, you will never regret your decision. Instead, you will likely find the hidden treasures in life you have been searching for.
