Book excerpt: Spring 2008 Message from the Minister responsible for the Status of Women As the minister responsible for the Status of Women, I am privileged to present the second progress report on New Brunswick's Wage Gap Reduction Initiative. [...] Our government has been unanimous in our support for this initiative, and we will continue to be diligent in working with our partners, advisory and community groups, along with the private sector, to address the challenges and objectives identified in the action plan, and to reach our overall goal of reducing the province's wage gap to 10 per cent by 2010.
