Three days before wedding, daughter leaves home at midnight to avoid the wedding. Daughter says she doesn't love the old boyfriend. The shock causes daughter's mother to suffer light stroke which damages her brain to the extent she has hallucinations. She is placed in a hospital for therapy. Farm boy avoids romance with yacht owner's daughter and returns home to hugs and kisses from sweetheart. Mother is still in hospital and sweetheart's father arranges for their wedding.
