Book excerpt: In this original work, initially published in 1987, the author presents an enlightened understanding of the natural process of transformation as it takes place on a personal level and its intimate relationship to global transformation. This book is a guide to all who desire to understand and experience life - changing transformation and to discover a new way of relating to themselves, to the world and to life itself. Praise for PEARLS OF CONSCIOUSNESS "This book touched me to the core of my soul. Much wisdom delivered in a concise format. It has helped me on my journey of personal transformation. I can feel that every word of this thin book was truth speaking to my soul. This book, first published in 1987, has similar teachings to Judith Orloff, MD and Caroline Myss' teachings while it was published over a decade before Myss' first book. There is much compassion and wisdom in the way knowledge is delivered. The union with self is the most fulfilling and satisfying union possible to mankind... If we want to experience peace on the planet, we must first make peace with ourselves. If we want to heal the planet, we must first heal ourselves. Mankind, as a whole has avoided taking the essential step in confronting inner pain preferring to blame the other for the pain within and the conflict in the world." I am grateful for the guidance from Pearls of Consciousness. I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in personal transformation and conscious evolution." Burmese Exile (U.S.A.) "I started to read Pearls of Consciousness again and am absolutely bowled over all over again by the pure poignancy and bone rattling profundity of this book. Oh, what a joy it is! So wonderfully wise and relevant to my transformation process that I am left breathless! How can humanity ever stop benefiting from these words and such genuine understanding of this all-embracing wisdom? I was so moved by even just the introduction and first chapter that I couldn't help the tears of gratitude these words brought to my eyes. Truly, the author Christa Burka is a master." Elliot Murray, U.K.

Book excerpt: This collection has 60 poems that tackle spirituality from different perspectives as they also tackle day- to-day activities of the protagonists, from love, truth and lies, what is right or wrong, politics, death, existence, growing up stories, memories, gender and sexuality, what beauty is, etc. And in all these poems there is the search for our beginning (where we came from) to find the path to here (where we are) and what this here represents. A conscious thread runs through and weaves these worlds into some form of religion, an individual spirituality.

"There is an experience that brings an end to all uncertainty and an end to all questions. The experience is Love. The experience of Love is Divinely Inspired and changelessly Eternal. Love does not come and go, or arise and fall like the sun, nor does it shine brightly only to fade and disappear for a time. Love is not personal or specific. It is impossible to Love something specific, for Love is Whole and knows no parts. Love is without an opposite, being Everything God creates forever. Divine Mind is God, is Love, is All." Sprinkled with delicate water color illustrations throughout, this eBook is a gift for the heart ... allow the mind to be gently bathed in the Light of Truth!

Williams received intuitively during a three-year period. Each verse facilitates deeper inspirational guidance and challenges current understanding by offering awareness of differing perspectives, sparking your inspirational journey. Some of the selections are designed as meditative tools to broaden your mind and connect with the whisperings of your soul. Others will awaken deeper conscious understanding triggered by intuitive wisdom, and some may challenge you. They’re all intended to enlighten, inspire, motivate, and facilitate deeper understanding, while assimilating, integrating, and digesting the enlightenment received. Some pieces may help you explore your current perceptions and triggers that may not align with the growth and changing of your conscious understanding as you move deeper into individualistic spiritual growth. These timeless poems and meditative guides evoke a deeper understanding of your own sovereign divinity as you open to the higher understanding and vibrational awareness of the origins of your creative consciousness. They invite you to explore the acknowledgement that we are beings of love walking each other home to the oneness that is us at the essence of our vibrational light.

Book excerpt: Best Health Book of 2018 - American Book Fest. Best Science Books of 2018 - Bookbub. Every creation begins as a thought, from a symphony to a marriage to an ice cream cone to a rocket launch. When we have an intention, a complex chain of events begins in our brains. Thoughts travel as electrical impulses along neural pathways. When neurons fire together they wire together, creating electromagnetic fields. These fields are invisible energy, yet they influence the molecules of matter around us the way a magnet organizes iron filings. In Mind to Matter, award-winning researcher Dawson Church explains the science showing how our minds create matter. Different intentions produce different fields and different material creations. The thoughts and energy fields we cultivate in our minds condition the atoms and molecules around us. We can now trace the science behind each link in chain from thought to thing, showing the surprising ways in which our intentions create the material world. The science in the book is illustrated by many authentic case histories of people who harnessed the extraordinary power of the mind to create. They include: • Adeline, whose Stage 4 cancer disappeared after she imagined "healing stars" • Raymond Aaron and two of his clients, each of whom manifested $1 million in the same week • Elon Musk, who bounced back from devastating tragedy to found Tesla and SpaceX • Graham Phillips, who grew the emotional regulation part of his brain by 22.8% in two months • Jennifer Graf, whose grandfather’s long-dead radio came to life to play love songs the day of her wedding • Harold, whose 80% hearing loss reversed in an hour • Joe Marana, whose deceased sister comforted him from beyond the grave • Rick Geggie, whose clogged arteries cleared up the night before cardiac surgery • Matthias Rust, a teen whose "airplane flight for peace" changed the fate of superpowers • Wanda Burch, whose dream about cancer told the surgeon exactly where to look for it • An MIT freshman student who can precipitate sodium crystals with his mind • John, who found himself floating out of his body and returned to find his AIDS healed • Dean, whose cortisol levels dropped by 48% in a single hour In Mind to Matter, Dawson Church shows that these outcomes aren’t a lucky accident only a few people experience. Neuroscientists have measured a specific brain wave formula that is linked to manifestation. This "flow state" can be learned and applied by anyone. New discoveries in epigenetics, neuroscience, electromagnetism, psychology, vibration, and quantum physics connect each step in the process by which mind creates matter. They show that the whole universe is self-organizing, and when our minds are in a state of flow, they coordinate with nature's emergent intelligence to produce synchronous outcomes. The book contained over 150 photos and illustrations that explain the process, while an "Extended Play" section at the end of each chapter provides additional resources. As Mind to Matter drops each piece of the scientific puzzle into place, it leaves us with a profound understanding of the enormous creative potential of our minds. It also gives us a road map to cultivating these remarkable brain states in our daily lives.

Book excerpt: This collection of essays by scholars from Europe, Asia, North America, and Latin America offers new perspectives of the phenomenological investigation of experiential life on the basis of Husserl’s phenomenology. Not only well-known works of Husserl are interpreted from new angles, but also the latest volumes of the Husserliana are closely examined. In a variety of ways, the contributors explore the emergence of reason in experience that is disclosed in the very regions that are traditionally considered to be “irrational” or “pre-rational.” The leading idea of such explorations is Husserl’s view that perception, affectivity, and volition are regarded as the three aspects of reason. Without affectivity, which is supposedly irrational, no rationality can be established in the spheres of representation and volition, whereas volitional and representational acts consistently structure the process of affective experience. In such a framework, it is also shown that theoretical and practical reason are inseparably intertwined. Thus, the papers collected here can be regarded as a collaborative phenomenological investigation into the entanglement and mutual dependency of the supposedly “rational” and the “irrational” as well as that of the “practical” and the “theoretical.”
