Gegenwärtige Themenschwerpunkte sind der Ansehensverlust für den Wirtschafts- und Wissenschaftsstandort Deutschland, die Gefahren der Verbreitung von Rechtsextremismus und Rassismus durch das Internet, sowie die Bekämpfung durch verstärkte Regression. In meiner Arbeit möchte ich mich mit der Frage auseinandersetzen, was speziell die Jugendarbeit gegen den Rechtsextremismus bei Jugendlichen erreichen kann. Am Anfang werde ich mich mit möglichen Ursachen für das Auftreten rechtsextremer Orientierungen beschäftigen und danach schulische, sowie außerschulische Konzepte im Ungang mit Rechtsextremismus vorstellen. Mit dem Begriff Rechtsextremismus werden häufig die Bagatellisierungen der NS-Zeit, die Auschwitzlüge, die Ablehnung des demokratischen Verfassungsstaates, oder auch die manifeste und latende Gewaltbereitschaft verbunden. Vorherrschend ist der Rassengedanke mit dem Ziel eine nationalbefreite Zone, bzw. ein kleines deutschen Dorf zu erschaffen um somit eine blutige Vermischung der Völker zu vermeiden. Diese Gruppierungen beschäftigen sich mit dem Eugenismus (Vererbungslehre), der besagt, dass der Charakter und das Verhalten sich vom Körper ableiten lassen. Dieser wird als legitimierter Rassismus bis zur Vernichtung durchgezogen. In der Alltagssprache und in der Fachliteratur wird der Begriff Rechtsextremismus oft synonym für die Bezeichnungen wie Rechtsradikalismus, Neofaschismus, Neonazismus oder Neue Rechte verwendet. Eine allgemeingültige und verbindliche Definition und Theorie von Rechtsextremismus konnte sich bisher jedoch nicht entwickeln, was zur Folge hat, dass die Begriffsbestimmungen für Rechtsextremismus unterschiedlich ausfallen, je nach dem zugrunde liegenden Forschungsansatz. Dennoch lässt sich ein Konsens erkennen, auch wenn dieser nur die Dimension der Demokratiefeindlichkeit, die lediglich ein Minimalkriterium darstellt, umfasst. Zur Bestimmung des Begriffs Rechtsextremismus möchte ich die Definition aus politisch- verfassungsrechtlicher Sicht anführen.

Der mutmaßliche Täter, ein 17-jähriger Neonazi, der von einer 16-jährigen Gesinnungsgenossin begleitet wurde, wurde kurz nach der Tat verhaftet und wird wegen Mordes angeklagt." Meldungen wie diese vom 1. April 2005 sind auch heute noch erschreckend oft zu lesen. Am Alter der Täter kann man erkennen, dass diese entweder die Schule noch besuchen, oder sie erst vor kurzem verlassen haben. Rechtsextremismus und Gewalt sind also Themen, die die Schule etwas angehen, da sie einmal mit rechtsextrem eingestellten Jugendlichen umgehen muss und gleichzeitig dafür sorgen sollte, dass Kinder und Jugendliche gar nicht erst zu rechtsextremistisch eingestellten jungen Erwachsenen werden. Im Seminar „Jugend und Rechtsextremismus. Geschichte und Gegenwart“ untersuchten wir die Entwicklung des Rechtsextremismus von der Jahrhundertwende bis heute. Dies geschah mit speziellem Blick auf rechtsextremistisch eingestellte Jugendliche bzw. auf rechtsextremistische Organisationen für Jugendliche. Gegen Ende des Seminars beschäftigten wir uns auch mit den Möglichkeiten der Schule und Jugendarbeit pädagogisch gegen Rechtsextremismus anzugehen bzw. präventiv tätig zu werden. In der vorliegenden Hausarbeit möchte ich mich nun vertiefend- im Hinblick auf meine spätere Berufstätigkeit mit den pädagogischen Arbeitsmöglichkeiten der Schule gegen Rechtsextremismus beschäftigen. Dazu werde ich erst versuchen den Begriff Rechtsextremismus zu klären, die Verbreitung des Rechtsextremismus in unserer Gesellschaft untersuchen, sowie die Entstehungsursachen von rechtsextremistischen Denkweisen. Das Schwerpunktthema wird die pädagogische Arbeit in der Schule gegen Rechtsextremismus sein. Hier möchte ich zuerst beschreiben, was allgemein die Probleme der Pädagogik gegen Rechtsextremismus sind, an wen sich diese Pädagogik wendet und schließlich welche Konzepte der präventiven Arbeit gegen Rechtsextremismus und für den Abbau von rechtsextremistischem Denken es für die schulische Arbeit gibt.

Book excerpt: This volume contains a selection of papers presented at TRAC 2014, as well as some invited contributions. In keeping with the aims of TRAC, several papers make make innovative use of interdisciplinary theory: in humanistic geography, philosophy and archaeology; social psychology; and the cognitive science of religion in the study of Roman monuments, military social history and religion. Other papers share a common theme: the critical interpretation of archaeological evidence. A more careful consideration of non-grave good pottery sherds from graves suggests that these often disregarded items potentially shed light on funerary rites which are usually considered to be invisible; the potential importance of plant remains, particularly of exotic and rare species, in ritual deposits is examined and a new perspective on the negative aspects of Roman conquest of Northern Gaul presented. New approaches towards our understanding of space and landscape in the Roman world comprise an examination of the suburbs of ancient Rome and preliminary results of an ongoing project exploring the relationship between wetland landscapes and domestic settlements, presenting a case study from Spain.
