Book Synopsis Pâques africaines d'aujourd'hui by : Joseph Doré
Download or read book Pâques africaines d'aujourd'hui written by Joseph Doré and published by Fleurus. This book was released on 2011-03-25T00:00:00+01:00 with total page 258 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Synopsis La Pâque de l'Afrique by : Antoine Nouwavi
Download or read book La Pâque de l'Afrique written by Antoine Nouwavi and published by Editions du Cerf. This book was released on 2016-09-02 with total page 406 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Synopsis A Listening Church by : Elochukwu Eugene Uzukwu
Download or read book A Listening Church written by Elochukwu Eugene Uzukwu and published by Wipf and Stock Publishers. This book was released on 2006-12-05 with total page 193 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: AIDS. Famine. Ethnic strife. Refugees. Poverty. Debt. Environmental degradation. These form the wounded face of Africa today, the reality confronting the church of Africa. To heal Africa, Spiritan Father Elochukwu Uzukwu argues that the church in Africa must become a credible and effective agent of change by making full use of African resources--natural and sociohistorical--including traditional patterns of social organization. In order to renew itself, the church must remember that it does not exist for itself but for the people--to bear witness in Africa to the risen Lord. Focusing on the Catholic Church in Africa today, A Listening Church proposes a fresh approach to ecclesiology. Following closely on the African Synod of Bishops, Uzukwu proposes the initiation of serious theological discussion on the structure of the Church in Africa that came out of that historic occasion. Simply speaking, the African churches must listen to their people, and the Church in Rome must listen to the churches in Africa.

Book Synopsis Theology, Liberation and Genocide by : Mario I. Aguilar
Download or read book Theology, Liberation and Genocide written by Mario I. Aguilar and published by SCM Press. This book was released on 2013-01-25 with total page 161 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Reclaiming Liberation Theology series claims that Liberation Theology is alive and well and continues to produce new and challenging material. In "Theology, Liberation and Genocide", Mario Aguilar, one of the leading liberation theologians of the current generation, asks how it can be possible to do theology in the face of atrocities such as the genocide in Rwanda. He argues that the traditional ways of doing theology ('high theology') no longer work and that theology now has to take place at the periphery rather than in the social, cultural and political centre. In this book, Aguilar seeks further to unfold the new agenda for liberation theology as set by Ivan Petrella and others.

Download or read book Dépasser la théologie de l'inculturation, pâque du Christ, pâque de l'Afrique written by Antoine Victoire Nouwavi and published by . This book was released on 2009 with total page 722 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.
