Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: First of all, I would like to emphasize that the objective of this book is not to study the universe in a classical or materialistic way, but rather to explain all its most important aspects, but analyzed from a philosophical or metaphysical point of view. It is true that it represents a bold description of the cosmos, but this is better than simply denying all soul in matter as materialistic scientists do when they claim that the origin of all material phenomenon without consciousness is another material phenomenon without consciousness of itself. It is surprising that there are so many universities and physics specialists at present, yet very few wonder what the real reason for their behavior is, or if they are aware of what they are doing. But materialistic scientists who deny the soul to people or matter always evasively answer that question, saying that if matter and its particles react to the stimuli they receive it is because of other, smaller particles, but they always try to avoid it. The true answer, because if matter reacts and acts in this way, it is simply because it is alive, even if it is in a different way from what biologists call life, because it is life, even if it is mineral and not organic. I would also like this book to serve to find a common point of understanding between the most spiritualistic ancient philosophy and the modern materialistic mentality that helps to understand the part of reason that each one has, because it is so unscientific to deny the existence of the spirit or the life of matter as insisting on saying that ancient legends and superstitions are absolute truths. The problem of contemporary society is that it lacks moral leadership, which causes social anarchy, this is due to the fact that religious organizations refuse to adapt to the times for fear that these changes will make them lose their power, because if they accept changes in their fundamental ideas that would show that they are not infallible as they would have us believe. This is arrogant behavior, because they do not want to accept that many of the things in the world are outside of what they believe or understand, simply because when their religions were founded they were not yet known. This attitude causes a separation between science and religion that can only be redirected through moral renewal. In reality, spiritualism begins where materialism ends, therefore, scientists will never be able to understand the intimate reality of matter if they do not accept to analyze it from a spiritual point of view. It must be borne in mind that a society that only relies on the material aspects of life but despises the spiritual ones is like a farmer who tries to make plants grow only with soil but without water, it is evident that in this way it will fail. With this book, I have tried to answer in a single book the main philosophical questions that throughout history have confused humanity, I have also tried to use clear and direct language, so that readers do not have too many difficulties in understand its content. I hope you find it useful.

Book excerpt: The Heart Of “I AM” The Point Of Divine Origin (Parts One, Two and Three), is an unfolding journey, a study into the path of realization of the Divinity of Mankind. It reveals the secrets of Divinity, the truth within the Self, God made Manifest as the diversity of all life and as your Immortal Being. The Heart Of “I AM” The Point Of Divine Origin (Parts One, Two and Three), is a journey of the soul’s awakening evolution through Resurrection and Ascension. The soul’s journey is taken through Alpha and Omega, the Body and Blood of the Self, as God’s creation. With the remembrance of all aspects of the Self, we become the realization of the prosperity of the Heart, the understanding of the true Self; perfect creations, a manifestation of God’s Heart, as seen through his Mind. This journey is the most comprehensive understanding of Alpha and Omega, starting from the Stargate of Father Mother God, through to the dimensions of Space formed forth as the Body through which the Blood, the knowing of the Self flows as Eternal Light. This unfolding fulfills the revelation of God, that all should know the truth of God.

Book excerpt: From a Traditionalist perspective, the cultural history of the Modern Era amounts to the genesis of the Dark Age. The Traditionalist meta-historical narrative deconstructs the modernist myth of “historic progress” as an anti-intellectual superstition. It exposes the quintessential features of Modernity – namely, secular nihilism, historical materialism, socio-political egalitarianism, and collective narcissism – as structural inversions of Traditional values. The historic accumulation of these inversions set the stage for a final showdown between Tradition and Modernity. In terms of ancient prophecy and Traditionalist philosophy, the Great War represents the apocalyptic sunset of the world of Tradition. This work follows the forgotten path of the philosophia perennis to trace the historic onset of the Dark Age. It clears away a century-deep deposit of “progressive” illusions and “politically-correct” axioms. The restored road of Traditional thought will lead a new generation of scholars to their rightful inheritance: an intellectual tabula rasa on which history can be written anew.

Book excerpt: On its publication in 2009, Shlomo Sand's book The Invention of the Jewish People met with a storm of controversy. His demystifying approach to nationalist and Zionist historiography provoked much criticism from other professional historians, as well as praise. The furore gave him a privileged position to consider his academic discipline, which he reflects on here in Twilight of History. Drawing on four decades in the field, Sand takes a wider view and interrogates the study of history, whose origin lay in the need for a national ideology. Over the last few decades, traditional history has begun to fragment, yet only to give rise to a new role for historians as priests of official memory. Working in Israel has sharpened Sand's perspective, since the role of history as national myth is particularly salient in a country where the Bible is treated as a source of historical fact. He asks such questions as: Is every historical narrative ideologically marked? Do political requirements and state power weigh down inordinately on historical research and teaching? And, in such conditions, can there be a morally neutral and "scientific" truth? Despite his trenchant criticism of academic history, Sand would still like to believe that the past can be understood without myth, and finds reasons for hope in the work of Max Weber and Georges Sorel.

Book excerpt: The visionary behind the bestselling phenomenon The Fourth Turning looks once again to America’s past to predict our future in this startling and hopeful prophecy for how our present era of civil unrest will resolve over the next ten years—and what our lives will look like once it has. Twenty-five years ago, Neil Howe and the late William Strauss dazzled the world with a provocative new theory of American history. Looking back at the last 500 years, they’d uncovered a distinct pattern: modern history moves in cycles, each one lasting roughly eighty to one hundred years, the length of a long human life, with each cycle composed of four eras—or “turnings”—that always arrive in the same order and each last about twenty years. The last of these eras—the fourth turning—was always the most perilous, a period of civic upheaval and national mobilization as traumatic and transformative as the New Deal and World War II, the Civil War, or the American Revolution. Now, right on schedule, our own fourth turning has arrived. And so Neil Howe has returned with an extraordinary new prediction. What we see all around us—the polarization, the growing threat of civil conflict and global war—will culminate by the early 2030s in a climax that poses great danger and yet also holds great promise, perhaps even bringing on America’s next golden age. Every generation alive today will play a vital role in determining how this crisis is resolved, for good or ill. Illuminating, sobering, yet ultimately empowering, The Fourth Turning Is Here takes you back into history and deep into the collective personality of each living generation to make sense of our current crisis, explore how all of us will be differently affected by the political, social, and economic challenges we’ll face in the decade to come, and reveal how our country, our communities, and our families can best prepare to meet these challenges head-on.

Yantras are held in very high esteem in Hinduism and are used to ward off negative effects of planets, souls, etc. Yantra is a medium through which the force of energy acts on an individual. Everyone of us is the center of something. That something is our universe. We can be the center of attention in a party or anywhere we are; we can consider ourselves as the center as everything surrounds each one of us. Depending of where you are your surroundings affects your well being in different ways. This is what a mathematical square or yantra does to your life. In this book Swami Ram Charran provides the effect of these squares on your life and desires.
