To be sure, the Association of American Publishers showed a year-to-date increase in the religion category of 2.9% in 2010. Richardson sees his typical reader as a combination of the average worshiper seeking a more intimate relationship with his God; the professional and student scholar who are committed to improving their understanding of the Holy scriptures and the unsaved among mankind who seek an introduction to their Creator God and His unconditional love.
