Download or read book Man to Man written by Michael Korda and published by Vintage. This book was released on 2011-09-07 with total page 273 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Although prostate cancer is a disease that strikes nearly 200,000 men every year, it is a disease that has been shrouded in silence, in part because it strikes at the very core of masculine identity. But in Man to Man, bestselling author Michael Korda breaks that silence, turning the story of his illness and recovery into a candid and instructive book that speaks not only to every man and woman whose life has been touched by prostate cancer but to everyone who lives in fear of it. With unsparing frankness, Korda describes how he survived the ordeal of prostate surgery and its painful and humiliating aftereffects. He tells us how tumors are graded, evaluates different treatments, and makes sense of prostate cancer's mystifying "numbers." Practical, immensely readable, filled with information, and, above all, hopeful, Man to Man is literally a life-saver.
Book Synopsis Energetic Cellular Healing and Cancer by : Tjitze de Jong
Download or read book Energetic Cellular Healing and Cancer written by Tjitze de Jong and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2021-02-16 with total page 256 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A guide to the psychological causes of cancer and how energetic healing can assist in a mind-body cure • Unravels the psychological aspects of an individual's energetic defense system, with a focus on cancer, and provides insight into how energetic distortions in our physical and energetic bodies can lead to illness • Explores where possible energetic blocks might develop and how energetic cellular healing techniques can assist in dissolving them • Shares intimate cancer journeys from individuals the author has worked with As a complementary energy healer, Tjitze de Jong has supported hundreds of clients during their journey with cancer over the past 15 years. In Energetic Cellular Healing and Cancer, he provides insight into the functioning of our cells and our immune system and how energetic distortions in our physical as well as energetic bodies, for example, in our chakras and auras, can lead to illness. He explores the correlation between cancer and emotional imbalances and explains how energetic healing techniques can make a difference in how our bodies cope with, and heal, illness. Drawing on the work of Wilhelm Reich and Barbara Brennan, the author unravels the psychological aspects of an individual’s energetic defense system and examines where possible energetic blocks might develop or have their origin, and how they can be dissolved. He also details energetic exercises that instantly stimulate the vibrancy of the aura and the chakras and offers practical advice on how to enhance and strengthen the immune system. Sharing intimate stories of cancer journeys from individuals he has worked with, Tjitze de Jong emphasizes that, before healing is within the realm of possibility, an individual needs to be able to recognize self-limiting and self-debilitating beliefs, behaviors, and patterns, nearly always based on experiences from our formative early years. Once a person starts to engage in deep inner work, they are able to start releasing these patterns and move toward regaining their autonomy, and eventually better health. While the focus of this book is on cancer, much of the information offered here is relevant for other illnesses too, making this an excellent guide for self-exploration and healing as well as a reference tool for therapists and alternative health practitioners.
Book Synopsis Stranger in the Village of the Sick by : Paul Stoller
Download or read book Stranger in the Village of the Sick written by Paul Stoller and published by Beacon Press. This book was released on 2005-04-15 with total page 241 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: After more than fifty years of good health, anthropologist Paul Stoller suddenly found himself diagnosed with lymphoma. The only thing more transformative than his fear and dread of cancer was the place it ultimately took him: twenty-five years back in time to his days as an apprentice to a West African sorcerer, Adamu Jenitongo. Stranger in the Village of the Sick follows Stoller down this unexpected path toward personal discovery, growth, and healing. The stories here are about life in the village of the healthy and the village of the sick, and they highlight differences in how illness is culturally perceived. In America and the West, illness is war; we strive to eradicate it from our bodies and lives. In West Africa, however, illness is an ever-present companion, and sorcerers learn to master illnesses like cancer through a combination of acceptance, pragmatism, and patience. Stoller provides a view into the ancient practices of sorcery, revealing that as an apprentice he learned to read divining shells, mix potions, and recite incantations. But it wasn't until he got cancer that he realized that sorcery embodied a more profound meaning, one that every person could use: "Sorcery is a body of knowledge and practice that enables one to see things clearly and to walk with confidence on the path of fear."

Download or read book I Cure Cancer written by Chris Wark and published by Independently Published. This book was released on 2019-05-30 with total page 421 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "I cure cancer," say it, because only you can cure your cancer. Say, "I cure cancer!" How do you cure cancer? Cure your acidosis and kill your pathogens. Dr. Bernardo was treating cancer patients for 50 years with this alkaline balancing protocol with a 90% success rate. This book has his protocol and many experts to back it up. I Cure Cancer, debuted in 2006 as a movie in NY. It explains for curing cancer, natural healing is the only way. Go holistic. Get alkaline. You don't die of cancer. You die of Acidosis. My info isn't to replace your Doctors it's to add to your arsenal. I'm just a filmmaker. That being said these days, going to your doctor is not enough due to the fact that the medical business is just that: a business. Therefore, it offers only those treatments that are lucrative for the medical industry. Those treatments have a dismal long-term remission rate, and they are only a tiny slice of what's available for treating cancer and what has worked for other people. Therefore, if you want to make sure you are doing everything you can to cure your cancer, and if you are willing to take responsibility for your own life, you must not only go to your doctor but also do your own research in order to learn about options that could either complement or replace conventional, Western methods (chemotherapy, radiation and surgery). These methods work for some but also have serious and sometimes fatal side effects. I am not a Doctor, nor am I offering a cure to anyone. The "i" in I Cure Cancer refers to 'you', the person who is logging on to the site in search of information regarding what other fellow human beings have done in battling this horrendous disease. In short as with any matter of importance dealing with one's well being, the first step is in taking responsibility for one's self. To gather as much information on the subject as possible in order to make educated assessments on what would work best for them. I made the film because as an actor in Hollywood it was the next viable venue for me to express what I had to say as a spirit on this planet. Regular movies weren't cutting it. Reading someone else's lines weren't my thing. I wanted to say my own lines. So I did through other people. I interviewed them to tell my story. In this documentary, it was that cancer was curable if you went holistic. I realized the movie had to be made into a book. I had to show the world what I found and include a basic do it at home holistic health program via Dr. Bernardo Majalca. So here you go. Everything in one book for your cancer healing journey. If you are in a hurry skip to Chapter 6. Read Dr. B's story then do the protocol in chapter 7. It takes 3 months to a year and a half sometimes to get your pH balanced. Once you do, the cancer dies. Bernardo would say if your pH is 7 to 7.4 for 3 months straight you are cancer free. Because cancer can not live in an oxygenated body. Disclaimer: We are not doctors! Just regular people not trusting Rockefeller Western Medicine. Sharing our insights. Only you can cure your cancer so say it. Say iCureCancer. I hope this book helps you. I worked hard on it. Good luck and God bless. Peace. Ian Jacklin

Book Synopsis Cause, Cure, and Cancer Free by : John Marra
Download or read book Cause, Cure, and Cancer Free written by John Marra and published by Sakura Publishing & Technologies. This book was released on 2014-04-15 with total page 130 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: CAUSE, CURE AND CANCER FREE is the self-help autobiography of John Marra, a Cleveland Ohio business man who found out he had cancer and decided to do something about it. Instead of giving in to the doctors around him that were insisting he would die if he didn't have an operation to help fix what was wrong inside of him, John decided to learn about what causes cancer and how to beat it. He did just that. After researching for what seemed like forever, John totally came to the conclusion that the only way to rid himself of cancer was to COMPLETELY change his lifestyle, starting with what he ate. He found that by making sure his ph levels in his blood stayed not to acidic or become saturated with alkaline, he would be able to really help his body fight the disease that was killing him. Along with this, he also learned that this wouldn't be enough to make sure his cancer would stay away. He had to also do several other important things, all of which he explains in this book. John Marra is currently cancer free and hopes to remain this way. He also wants everyone out there to realize they, too, can beat cancer, and become a cancer escapee like he did. It's not an absolute cure by any means, but it's a chance for many people who have been told they don't have one when it comes to fighting cancer.
