Hegel's name is the first defendant on the document, and Rosenkranz considered De Ecclesiae ... to be a work by Hegel: "He [Hegel] wrote in the manner of Spittler's and Plank's with thorough source research, which goes into the smallest details in the notes, a treatise: De ecclesiae Wirtembergicae ... He defended it in June.”
