Book excerpt: The apostolic generation of the 21st century is an omega generation. They live at the end of God's purpose and work their way back to their current earthly position. They live at the omega dimension before and during the execution of God's purpose in the natural realm. The omega dimension is their dwelling place and they call it home. They live in the heavens while functioning in the earth. Their sight has been elevated and their spirit catapulted and established in eternity. They have nailed their spirit and mind to the omega of the purposes of God while physically performing and outworking them in the natural. As far as they are concerned, what they are doing for God in the earth is a done deal, and they draw their strength from this mentality, truth and understanding. They are not running towards an uncertain future, but from the future, they move swiftly to the present. From the omega they alpha the purpose of the Father powerfully on earth, bringing them to an ultimate finish within divinely prescribed time. While many start and are unsure about finishing, this generation finish before they start. They are a generation that lives at the end.

Book excerpt: In a world where children are forbidden, one couple will not comply... The human race is dying. In the near future, genetic mutation causes everyone born after a certain date to mature into psychopaths. Massacres plague the nation. For the safety of all, anyone born after Red Line Day is interned, and giving birth is illegal. Kyle and Addie are part of Generation Omega, the last people born before Red Line Day and the final senior class that will ever graduate. Their destiny will be to bury their elders and turn out the lights for all mankind. When Addie gets pregnant, the law is clear. She cannot carry a psychopath to term. She and Kyle decide to run. A mythical town called Ashrama is said to exist where people live naturally, free of the disorder that created the Psychopocalypse. They set out to find it. Guided by the shadowy members of the Invisible Skyway, and assisted by their principal and a dying pharmacist from town, they begin a cross-country journey. But much stands in their way. Escaped young psychs and bands of criminals ravage the no man’s land between cities. Government agents hunt anyone planning on breaking the rules of reproduction. And those they must trust often become betrayers when it serves their self-interest. GENERATION OMEGA combines the epic post-apocalyptic scope of THE STAND with the pace of a Lee Child thriller. The storyline taps into the common fears of an unready upcoming generation and the effects of toxins we are releasing into the world.

Book Synopsis E-business by : Brian Stanford-Smith
Download or read book E-business written by Brian Stanford-Smith and published by IOS Press. This book was released on 2000 with total page 1164 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: How can the Internet and world wide web improve my long-term competitive advantage? This book helps answer this question by providing a better understanding of the technologies, their potential applications and the ways they can be used to add value for customers, support new strategies, and improve existing operations. It is not just about e-commerce but the broader theme of e-business which affects products, business processes, strategies, and relationships with customers, suppliers, distributors and competitors. To cover future trends, the editors have collected papers from authors operating at the frontiers of the developments so the reader can more appreciate the directions in which these technologies are heading. The resulting 165 essays have been collated into ten sections, which have been grouped in three parts: key issues, applications areas and applications, tools and technologies. A business rarely makes radical changes but is constantly making adjustments to circumstances. Businesses must now adapt to the global implications of the Internet and world wide web. This book hopes to aid awareness of the implications so that the changes are managed wisely.

Book Synopsis Teaming a Product and a Global Market by : Graham Gibbs
Download or read book Teaming a Product and a Global Market written by Graham Gibbs and published by AIAA. This book was released on 1997 with total page 274 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book outlines how the Canadian Marconi Company succeeded in a high-technology export market in competition with some of the largest companies and achieved a global leadership position without a domestic market. Central to this story is an aircraft navigation system that uses signals from eight government-owned stations around the world. The aviation community knows it as the Omega System. The Canadian Marconi Company developed its first aircraft Omega Navigation System while the government of the United States of America was setting up the ground stations. Part of this story is the Company's recognition that if it wanted to sell its own product, it had to help promote this new technique in navigation.
Book Synopsis Handheld and Ubiquitous Computing by : Hans-W. Gellersen
Download or read book Handheld and Ubiquitous Computing written by Hans-W. Gellersen and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 1999-09-15 with total page 403 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Truly personal handheld and wearable technologies should be small and unobtrusive and allow access to information and computing most of the time and in most circumstance. Complimentary, environment-based technologies make artifacts of our surrounding world computationally accessible and facilitate use of everyday environments as a ubiquitous computing interface. The International Symposium on Handheld and Ubiquitous Computing, held for the first time in September 1999, was initiated to investigate links and synergies in these developments, and to relate advances in personal technologies to those in environment-based technologies. The HUC 99 Symposium was organised by the University of Karlsruhe, in particular by the Telecooperation Office (TecO) of the Institute for Telematics, in close collaboration with ZKM Karlsruhe, which generously hosted the event in its truly inspiring Center for Arts and Media Technology. The symposium was supported by the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) and the German Computer Society (Gesellschaft f r Informatik, GI) and held in cooperation with a number of special interest groups of these scientific societies. HUC 99 attracted a large number of paper submissions, from which the international programme committee selected 23 high-quality contributions for presentation at the symposium and for inclusion in these proceedings. In addition, posters were solicited to provide an outlet for novel ideas and late-breaking results; selected posters are also included with these proceedings. The technical programme was further complemented by four invited keynote addresses, and two panel sessions.
