I don't faff around with fillets of beef and I don't know many who just happen to have one to hand in the fridge or freezer.I'm not a chef I'm a cook with many years experience and I love food. I love eating it, looking at it, and the kitchen is where I feel most comfortable. But I do admire chefs. They have such special skills, but I bet their roast dinners aren't a patch on mine. And how many of us have eaten in a restaurant, ordered something with a fancy name, been very disappointed and thought "well I could do better myself".So this book is for everyone. Step by step recipes for easy reading. There is a section for vegetarians, vegans, even gluten and dairy free will be able to find a little something for themselves. Of course due to my age I just had to include an 'offal section' but it's at the back of the book so you don't have to see it at all if you don't want to!I don't mess around! It's called 'nanny knows best' for a reason. The reader is instructed, told off even - but it's all for your own good in the end. Trust me nanny really does know best!
