The faithful must be initiated in the doctrine and theology of the sacraments so that they may know and gain spiritual benefit from those means which God has given us to impart his unseen and uncreated grace to us. The bases upon which this treatise is written is the Apostolic Tradition of the Holy Church, which exists in both its written (the Sacred Scriptures) and oral forms (the Apostolic and Patristic writings).

I am not against the concept of covenant, but I feel comfortable knowing that I am in partnership with the Holy Spirit. It means it is possible to be in partnership with someone who is able to cover up for your limitations and that is where the mercy of God comes in.
