Book excerpt: “Elena Danaan’s new book, We Will Never Let You Down, casts much needed light on the diplomatic negotiations between President Dwight Eisenhower and Valiant Thor—an ambassador of the Galactic Federation of Worlds—from 1958 to 1961. Now we finally have a fresh new perspective, directly from Valiant Thor himself, of the unsuccessful negotiations that were conducted. We learn about his warnings about negotiating with an alliance of alien predator races; Eisenhower’s betrayal by MJ-12 in signing secret agreements with this exploitative alliance; and how the Galactic Federation has ever since been mitigating the effects of these nefarious agreements through numerous covert actions to raise human consciousness and spark a planetary awakening. A must read for all wanting to prepare for the momentous global changes that lie ahead! “ Michael Salla, Ph.D. Rescued as a child by Extraterrestrials, Elena Danaan kept contact with them all her life and wrote her story in the bestseller: “A Gift From The Stars”. “We Will Never Let You Down” follows up by depicting contacts the author had with Commander Val “Valiant” Thor and her journeys in this solar system. Written at the brink of a new era, this book is a testimony of the presence and dedication of benevolent extraterrestrials protecting Earth. This book includes also precious messages from Commander Thor Han Eredyon from the Galactic Federation of Worlds, revelations about Val Thor’s sojourn in the Pentagon, his relation with Dwight Eisenhower, his stay in Russia, the political background involving secret treaties with the Grey Alliance and the complex underlying Alien-Human diplomacy. Astonishing details, unknown until now, are revealed in this book. Born in France, Elena Danaan is a Fine Arts graduate, Archaeologist, Druidess, Shaman, Energy & Sound practitioner. She worked as a field Archaeologist for 20 years, mainly in Egypt. Balancing both scientific education and cognitive abilities, Elena narrates with honnesty, pragmatism and simplicity, the incredible adventures she was privileged to live and share.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Dr. Pleune confronts the religious community, and in specific the Christian faith (which is very broad), by looking at the challenges of faith and its reliability as well as its unreliability by asking some very basic questions to get people thinking about their faith and the authority that backs up their faith as being reliable or not. A follow-up question that kicks off the subject of reliability is the appearance of Truth. Does something exist that is relied upon by means of a person's say-so or textual authority which may or may not be initially written in correct interpretation from earlier writings as well as the injection of the writers own view, bias or prejudice? In disseminating the Truth, Dr. Pleune examines writings, archeology, the bible and the immense information stored in the Storage Banks of which the Plejaren from the planet of Era introduce to Billy Meier. The storage banks go back hundreds of thousands of years and are more accurate than Biblical and archeological records that exist. In this context, Dr. Pleune discusses what and why people accept religious beliefs...even though they are false. Dr. Pleune brings out two distinct subjects that deal with what is truth and what is not truth. The first subject discussed is the dating of the Noah's Ark Flood. This has been severely misunderstood and even errantly neglected in research. It is even skewed in its time frame and what caused the so-called "Flood." The research on this topic even changes the "Religionists" concept of dating the earth...that is to say if they dare to learn the truth! It also correctly aids in the dating of the end of the ice age and the answer to why we have twenty-four hours in a day and what the axis of the earth was prior to the Destroyer Comet. In addition to this profound information, Dr. Pleune also explains the Sumerian King List and its relationship to alien life ruling the Sumerian populace and aspects of their longevity, technology and rulership. This aspect of study had a bearing on early Biblical faith in what was considered the worship of a God. Dr. Pleune explains the true definition of God as well as JHWH (King of Wisdom) and the relationship it has with Adam and his descendents (those who believed in a God or not) down to Abraham, as well as "who was the God of Abraham." Dr. Pleune follows this up with a history of what is called the God of the Hebrews, Christians, and whoever else follows the belief of God, with the true and accurate information from the storage banks of the universe that no other scripture of any kind has stated before. Sadly, there are those who will cling to a Savior and God that have been put on a pedestal because they only accept what feels good or sounds right even though there is so much proof that states otherwise. The whole matter has a direct influence on the skewed social interaction and treatment between mankind, which in turn results in a religious denomination turning against itself and splitting neighbor against neighbor, parent against child; religious texts being misunderstood; and finally coming full circle to who is right and who is wrong. Dr. Pleune points out the hatred and carnage that religious convictions have cost in wars, splits in family circles and neighborhoods, and our nation's stand on issues as well as treaties and working relationships with other nations. Finally, Dr. Pleune discusses false teachings, delusional beliefs, and skewed interpretation of Biblical script as it relates to the authoritative revelations from the Plejaren (those from the area of the Pleiades) who have historical information that is far more accurate than any religious texts on Earth. If you fail to research these accurate revelations, you will lack the wisdom of life and continue to be blinded by self and delusional concepts.

Book excerpt: This volume explores the science fiction/world politics intertext. Through detailed analyses of such texts as Blade Runner, Stalker, Star Trek, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the chapters in this volume examine the complex and sometimes contradictory relations between world politics, both as discipline and as practice, and discourses of science fiction. Offering a novel combination of popular culture analysis with major theoretical and empirical issues concerning world politics, Science Fiction and World Politics provides insights into the discursive constitution of both science fiction and world politics while highlighting the occasional challenges that the science fiction/world politics intertext launches at our common sense.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A guide to the history that informs the world of Star Trek?just in time for the next JJ Abrams Star Trek movie For a series set in our future, Star Trek revisits the past constantly. Kirk and Spock battle Nazis, Roman gladiators, and witness the Great Depression. When they're not doubling back on their own earlier timelines, the crew uses the holodeck to spend time in the American Old West or Victorian England. Alien races have their own complex and fascinating histories, too. The Star Trek universe is a sci-fi imagining of a future world that is rooted in our own human history. Gene Roddenberry created a television show with a new world and new rules in order to comment on social and political issues of the 1960s, from the Vietnam War and race relations to the war on terror and women's rights. Later Star Trek series and films also grapple with the issues of their own decades: HIV, ecological threats, the collapse of the Soviet Union, and terrorism. How did Uhura spur real-life gender and racial change in the 1960s? Is Kirk inextricably linked with the mythical Old West? What history do the Klingons share with the Soviet Union? Can Nazi Germany shed light on the history and culture of the Cardassians? Star Trek and History explains how the holodeck is as much a source for entertainment as it is a historical teaching tool, how much of the technology we enjoy today had its conceptual roots in Star Trek, and how by looking at Norse mythology we can find our very own Q. Features an exclusive interview with Nichelle Nichols, the actress behind the original Lt. Uhura, conducted at the National Air and Space Museum Explains the historical inspiration behind many of the show's alien races and storylines Covers topics ranging from how stellar cartography dates back to Ancient Rome, Greece, and Babylonia to how our "Great Books" of western literature continue to be an important influence to Star Trek's characters of the future Includes a timeline comparing the stardates of Star Trek's timeline to our own real world history Filled with fascinating historical comparisons, Star Trek and History is an essential companion for every Star Trek fan.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Political belief systems are, at heart, psychological theories of motivation, personality, mental health, education, and social interaction. In this volume, Diane Halpern and Alexander Voiskounsky take advantage of recent political events in the former Soviet Union which have created a unique opportunity to study the ways in which two major world powers have defined contemporary psychological issues. Because access to Western literature in psychology was strictly controlled until 1991, much of Soviet psychology developed independently of Western ideas. Likewise, impediments in communication also prevented Western researchers and theorists from enhancing their work with Soviet perspectives. Although the political climate has changed enormously, barriers to the exchange of ideas still remain. States of Mind explores newly evolving areas of psychology that are particularly important at this time in history, and addresses these topics from both post-Soviet and American perspectives. Psychologists from both backgrounds present their personal views of their own areas of expertise to offer their counterparts a portion of the psychological landscape from a new vantage point.
