Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: All praises to the Sustainer of the worlds, and grace, honor and salutations on the Chief of Apostles and Seal of Prophets, Muhammad, his family, companions and those who followed him in an excellent fashion and invited mankind towards Allah, till the Day of Resurrection. This is a reality which can be stated without any ambiguity and Exaggeration, that in the Islamic world of today the most power full, use full and all-encompassing effort, is the struggle of the Tablighi Jamaat whose center is situated at the Tablighi Markaz Nizamuddin,Delhi(India). The scope of this effort and its impact is not restricted to the India subcontinent, or Asia, but extends to many continents and to a host of Islamic and Non- Islamic States. The history if such campaigns and revolutionary or reformative movements shows that, after passage of a period of time,or when the scope of the effort enlarge greatly ( specially when, by means of it, the attainment of certain advantages and leadership become apparent)then such weaknesses, unwanted objectives and neglect of the original goals set in, which reduce or even totally wipe out the true influence of the work.

Book excerpt: It is now forty years since this book was written, twenty since it was translated into English, and twelve since the translation was first published. The issues that had caused the author so much concern at the time have become, without exception, all the more pressing today. The need to convey the Islamic concept of Tawhid to the world at large in clear unequivocal terms has been and shall remain a Muslim's first duty. Now that there is renewed worldwide attention towards Islam, it has become even more urgent to convey its core concept, without which there is no religion: The Oneness of God. Key to the Garden is an elaborate exposition of Prophet Muhammad (s) teaching that the inner life must pass through three stages: affirmation of faith with the tongue, then the mind, and finally the heart. The Muslim Testimony of Faith, that there is no deity save God, is at once the essence and the highest principle of Islam. This book is a demonstration, by one of the greatest recipients of the Prophet's heritage of knowledge, of how the whole spectrum of Islamic thought and worship unfolds naturally from these few words.

Book excerpt: **Please note that other publishers claim they have full English translation, whereas what they actually have is this same version with 409 pages. We are truthful in our claim that this actually the abridged version. Also, we bring this product at lower price for more circulation. This is one of the best English translation of Fazail E Amaal, particularly Quranic aayat and Ahadith has been translated using current English rather than the old style English, Its very easy to understand for all age group. The page quality, printing and binding is also very nice. Faza'il-e-A'maal (originally titled Tablighi Nisab -Curriculum for Tabligh), is a religious text composed mainly of treatises by the Indian Deobandi hadith scholar Muhammad Zakariya Kandhlawi for Tablighi Jamaat. The book is written in simple and lucid Urdu and is a collection of pious and edifying tales, based mostly on inspirational hadith traditions and anecdotes. The Fazaail-e-Aamaal, of Hadhrat Sheikhul Hadith, MoulanaMuhammad Zakariyya Khandelwi (RA), is among the most famousand well known Islamic books in the world. Allah Ta'ala has granted this book great acceptance and popularity throughout the globe. Thousands of people read this book and benefit from it. To date it has been translated into more than a dozen languages. Last year (1432), some members of the Ta'limi Board (KZN) visited Nizaamuddeen and met one of the elders, Hadhrat MoulanaYa'qoob Saahib (daamat barakaatuhu), the ustaaz of Moulana Sa'aadSaahib (daamat barakaatuhu). Hadhrat Moulana advised them to commence the reading of the Fazaail-e-Aamaal to the children in order to encourage them to carry out the necessary aamaal (good deeds). He mentioned that we are teaching only the masaail (laws) of salaah, etc., in the makaatib but the children will not be encouraged to perform salaah by just learning the masaail. We will have to read to them the fazaail (virtues and benefits) to encourage them to perform salaah. Hadhrat Moulana Ya'qoob Saahib (daamat barakaatuhu) also advised that the Fazaail-e-Aamaal be simplified and brought down to the level of the children so that they are encouraged to engage in Aamaal-e-Saaliha (good deeds). Therefore, in the light of Hadhrat Moulana Ya'qoob Saahib's advice, Hadhrat Mufti Ebrahim Salejee Saahib (daamat barakaatuhu), the principal of Madrasah Taleemuddeen, initiated the simplifying of the Fazaail-e-Aamaal for the benefit of the children in the makaatib. This book is divided into 7 parts, viz. Stories of Sahaabah, Virtuesof Salaah, Virtues of reciting the Quraan, Virtues of zikr, Virtues of Durood Shareef, Virtues of Ramadhaan and virtues of tableegh. Apart of each section should be read out and explained daily to the children. This should be done 5 minutes before they leave for home. The following order should be followed in reading this book to the children. Open permission is granted for the reprinting of this booklet provided it is without any alterations. The publisher of this book has made it very clear that "Open permission is granted for the reprinting of this booklet provided it is without any alterations." Book excerpt: In her compelling journey with a government-aided, Muslim-majority school of (old) Delhi, a manager discovers structures of power, politicking, conflict and harmony. This book explores how teachers, administrators and students of low-income and disadvantaged communities navigate limited opportunities and resources. It examines the socio-economic-cultural background of students, institutional rituals and practices, and the impact of power relations in neo-liberal contexts on the worker-children. It uncovers the power and privilege of those in authority and elucidates how bureaucratic systems in state-run schools tend to overlook the interests and circumstances of students, thus perpetuating their subalternity. Education in a “Ghetto” will be of interest to educationalists, sociologists, historians, political scientists, developmentalists or just about anybody interested in the interface of state, society, and education.

Retrieving and engaging a variety of biblical, theological, historical, and medical resources, Levering journeys through the various stages and challenges of the dying process, beginning with the fear of annihilation and continuing through repentance and gratitude, suffering and hope, before arriving finally at the courage needed to say goodbye to one’s familiar world. Grounded in careful readings of Scripture, the theological tradition, and contemporary culture, Dying and the Virtues comprehensively and beautifully shows how these nine virtues effectively unite us with God, the One who alone can conquer death.

Book excerpt: How do religions spread in today’s world, where Christian missions have lost influence and modern nations have replaced colonial empires? Religion on the Move! is a collection of essays charting new religious expansions. Contemporary evangelists may be Nigerian, Korean, Brazilian or Congolese, working at the grassroots and outside the mainstream in Pentecostal, reformist Islamic, and Hindu spiritual currents. While transportation and media provide newfound mobility, the mission field may be next door, in Europe, North America, and within the "South," where migrants from Africa, Asia, and Latin America settle. These essays, using perspectives from religious studies, ethnography, history and sociology, show that immigrants, women, and other disempowered peoples transmit their faiths from everywhere to everywhere, engaging in globalization from below. Contributors include: Afe Adogame, Shobana Shankar, Matthew Forrest Lowe, Dyron B. Daughrity, Janel Kragt Bakker, Rebecca Catto, Jonas Adelin Jørgensen, Shuma Iwai, Albert Wuaku, Hakano Abdi Wario, Ramzi Ben Amara, Rebecca Y. Book excerpt: What is the best wedding advice you ever received? For author Seth Adam Smith, it was the advice from his father who said, "Marriage is not for you. It is about the person you marry." These few words completely changed the way Seth looked at his relationship with his wife-to-be. Because at that moment he realized that an expression of love is not about the person expressing it. Rather, it is about the person they choose to be with. It is about making the person you marry feel loved. Seth's blog post on the subject was viewed by more than thirty million people, and he has been featured on several national TV programs including "The Today Show." Now released as a hardcover book, these sage words make the perfect gift for newly married couples, those who have been around the block a few times, or anyone who wants to learn how to make their relationships stronger.
