Cependant, des phénomènes complexes et couplés, comme l'effet Mullins et l'effet Payne, rendent le comportement de ces matériaux fortement non-linéaire. Peu de modèles permettent de prédire la réponse dynamique de ces pièces quelle que soit la sollicitation appliquée. L'objectif principal de cette étude est de proposer un modèle de comportement mécanique du matériau intégrant la prise en compte de l'effet Payne afin de mieux prévoir la réponse dynamique de pièces anti-vibratoires en élastomère chargé et de permettre notamment une meilleure conception de ces pièces en fonction de leur utilisation (fréquence à atténuer, charge statique supportée ...). Ensuite, nous avons développé une chaîne de modèles allant du modèle de comportement matériau au modèle de substitution de la liaison souple intégrable dans un modèle dynamique de grand système, comme un avion par exemple. Pour cela, une méthode de réduction d'ordre de modèle a notamment été développée pour résoudre efficacement le problème paramétrique relatif à la construction du modèle de substitution. Ainsi, dans un premier temps, une campagne d'essais dynamiques, caractérisés par une fréquence, une amplitude de déformation et une déformation statique, sur éprouvettes à la fois en cisaillement puis en compression a été menée. Ceux-ci ont notamment permis de caractériser l'effet Payne vis à vis de ces différents paramètres. Ensuite, nous avons cherché à développer un modèle de comportement matériau permettant de simuler ces essais et donc de prédire la réponse dynamique de la liaison souple, notamment en terme de rigidité et de dissipation, quelles que soient les sollicitations statiques et dynamiques appliquées. Pour cela, un modèle de comportement hyperviscoplastique : le modèle DyMPPlEC, basé sur celui de Qi-Boyce, a été enrichi au Centre des Matériaux. Les paramètres matériau, associés au modèle développé, ont été identifiés à partir des données expérimentales sur un élément de volume représentatif puis le modèle a été validé sur une structure réelle. Enfin, la capacité de ce modèle à prévoir l'effet Payne même pour des sollicitations dynamiques de déformation statique non nulle tout en intégrant l'effet Mullins a été mise en avant.

De nombreuses étude ont tenté de relier les paramètres de fabrication aux propriétés mécaniques mais n'ont généralement abouti qu'à des résultats qualitatifs ou bien quantitatifs mais restreints au produit étudié. Nous nous inscrivons dans le cadre d'une deuxième approche (lui utilise une modélisation micro-mécanique des méthodes de simulation informatique. Notre modèle est une représentation tridimensionnelle d'une nappe de nontissé où les fibres sont assimilées à des successions de cylindres extensibles, reliés entre eux par des noeuds correspondant à des points de contacts mobiles. Nous supposons que toutes les déformations sont élastiques et réversibles. Le principe général de la simulation est de déformer la structuré par petits incréments et de calculer la nouvelle configuration d'équilibre statique par un processus itératif clé relaxation, le but étant d'obtenir le rhéogramme en traction uniaxiale de la structure. Pour cela, nous ne prenons en compte que les forces de traction dans les fibre, les moments dus à la traction et la torsion et le frottement supposé statique. Pour valider notre méthode, nous l'avons confrontée à des essais réels sur de petites structures de deux ou quatre filaments. Nous obtenons une bonne correspondance entre les rhéogrammes théoriques et expérimentaux pour les faibles déformations. Dans la deuxième moitié des courbes, le modèle surestime la force exercée sur la structure, ce qui provoque une rupture prématurée. Néanmoins, la force à la rupture théorique est proche de la valeur expérimentale. Nous avons donc développé un algorithme robuste qui permettrait de bien simuler le comportement mécanique d'un non-tissé aiguilleté pour de faibles déformations. Il faudrait encore affiner le modèle pour obtenir une meilleure correspondance pour des déformations plus importantes.
