Book excerpt: Can you imagine living in a place, where you speak to someone that appears to be 55 years old, and then you find out that they are more like 135 years old? These are the kinds of things that goes on each and every single day in Miracle, the huge problem with this kind of place is the common idea that we need mean people in order to have a perfect world, really? Not by the rules of Miracle, now, in this book, I really get to have fun because there are a lot of things that will change as far as local, and National Leadership is concerned, but remember, this is a story based on dreams, none of it is true. The full measure of the story is awareness, and the kingdom of God is Love, if this is true, then why are there so many wars and rumors of war going on?

Book excerpt: In this book, you will discover Gods will and purpose in bringing heaven to earth. For too long, we have desired and yearned to leave earth, along with all its problems and complications, without ever longing to see Gods kingdom and will established on earth. Jesus prayed, "Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." This was not necessarily the model prayer, but what we should literally be praying. We must pray that His kingdom comes to invade the earth and our lives. We must pray that His will be done. The author explains and answers several key questions pertaining to the Kingdom of God, such as: what is Gods Kingdom? Is Gods Kingdom here and now? What is my role in this Kingdom? And so on. Alec unveils hidden truths from Scripture and challenges modern day theology concerning Gods Kingdom. As you open its pages, you will begin to understand and experience a different meaning of our mandate and responsibility as children and citizens of God. Come along as we discover the power, majesty, and beauty of Gods Kingdom that will revolutionize your life and ministry.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In the last decade or so, scholarship on the miracles of Jesus has shifted from reconstructions of the historical Jesus to the questions of why and to what end early Jesus-followers told stories about miracles. Myrick Shinall contends that Mark and Q contain two distinct ways of remembering Jesus’s miracles in relation to his proclamation of the kingdom of God. He compares three cases of Mark-Q overlaps which feature miracles: the Beelzebul controversy, the commissioning of the disciples, and the testing or “temptation” narratives, and finds that in Mark, the miracles and the kingdom of God both point to Jesus’ identity as a divine figure, whereas in Q, Jesus and the miracles point instead to the coming kingdom of God. Shinall further argues that these different views represent different strategies for creating group identities for Jesus’ followers, strategies that came into conflict as the movement’s identity coalesced. At length, he shows that the mix of “high” and “low” Christology in the Synoptic tradition requires reframing of the current debate over how early a “high” Christology developed in the nascent Jesus movement.

Book excerpt: In 15 years of Ministry, I have witnessed numerous miraculous signs and wonders, when the kingdom of God, which is the Holy Spirit, is emphasized. In different parts of this book I have shared a few of my experiences with the Holy Spirit. The book outlines what the Kingdom of God is: Powers of the Kingdom, Fundamental Principles of the Kingdom; how to enter the kingdom of God; an analysis of miracles in major denominations and the results of refusing the Kingdom of God. It is my contribution, to the Body of Christ, as a final appeal to receive the Holy Spirit before it is too late. Without the Holy Spirit, it is impossible to live through these end times of trials and tribulations. Furthermore, the presence and obedience to the Holy Spirit is the only medium to go in the Rapture. Samuel Mc Pherson is a teacher with 27 years of experience in divulging science at CSEC level. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Kingdom of God is from eternity past to eternity future. The Kingdom of God is embodied in Almighty God Himself. The authority of God that rules the universe has always existed beyond the realms of time and space and rules in the realm of the spirit as well as the physical universe. It is this kingdom which God chooses to establish in the hearts and lives of His people throughout the ages. Our lives are dictated by choices, which God intends to correspond to His will and His purposes for His creation. When Jesus Christ came to the earth, He introduced the Kingdom of Heaven. The Kingdom of Heaven is a dispensation within the Kingdom of God, which includes the church (the building of the Body of Christ) and the millennial age (which begins at Christs return to earth). We will reign with Jesus as rulers in Gods Kingdom for all eternity. We hope that this book gives some insight into the Kingdom of God, as described in Gods Holy Word, the Bible. We hope that we gain a greater relationship with and a greater understanding of Jesus Christ as Gods appointed King. We pray that we gain a greater understanding of our spiritual authority as joint heirs with Jesus Christ in Gods Kingdom. We will use this divine authority to tear the devils kingdom down, to reclaim territory, to preach the gospel of the Kingdom of God and His Christ, to heal every sickness and disease among people, and to restore the Kingdom of God back to its rightful place of highest supremacy in the earthly realm. Pray with us as we move the Kingdom of God agenda forward during this age in which we now live.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book explores the revelation of God’s love in the mystery of the covenant, and shows how this potent theological concept has inspired artists through the ages to reflect on the nature of divine interaction with mankind. It traces the development of the covenantal relationship between God and the Jewish people as given in the Hebrew Scriptures, and examines the Christian concept of the New Covenant, portrayed by Gospel writers and those of the early Church in the New Testament. Alongside this, the book matches a variety of artistic work in which these texts are made visible. The reference to over 300 works of art is a mere sample, and will inspire readers to research this hugely rich resource both for their own interest and for use in teaching about the Christian faith and its important Jewish roots. Learning in the contemporary world often lifts the emphasis from mere words to illustration, and this book shows clearly that, throughout history, the Christian world has sought to use art to aid understanding of biblical texts. Art continues to be used hand-in-hand with the Scriptures in present-day classrooms, as well as in group and individual study. This volume provides a basis for the exploration of God’s love in his covenantal relationship with the People of God, ancient and modern, and will serve to inspire an investigation of the huge range of artistic interpretation which is available through twenty-first century technology.

In this journey through the Gospel of Matthew, Matt Woodley considers the audacious idea of a God with us--confronting us in the midst of all we've invested ourselves in and dedicated ourselves to, and encouraging us with the promise that the God who made us has a better life in mind for us. The Resonate series recovers the ancient wisdom of Scripture for a complex world. The stories and insights of each book of the Bible are brought into conversation with contemporary voices of hope and lament--the cultural messages we interact with on a daily basis. The Scriptures become a meeting ground where God is confronted with the pressing concerns of our day, and we are confronted in turn with a fresh experience of God's truth.

Book excerpt: A compelling account of years of spiritual investigations from the director of Life After Life, the award-winning documentary on near-death experiences. The stories of divine intervention in people’s everyday lives continued to occupy Peter Shockey’s thoughts even after his documentaries on the subject for Hallmark Channel and Discovery’s TLC had been completed and garnered awards and international acclaim. In Miracles, Angels & Afterlife, Shockey shares the most compelling accounts he has gathered during his years of spiritual investigations and offers profound insight into what the increasing presence of the divine in daily life can mean in this, the first generation of the third millennium. Beginning with his own personal story, Shockey goes on to introduce others who relate their miraculous experiences, ranging from visions of heaven to the presence of angels. He then puts these encounters in an enlightening context as he explores striking patterns of divine intervention in human history as well as in the Bible. In doing so, he takes readers on an unforgettable spiritual odyssey that will change the way they look at the here and now . . . and the hereafter.

I want to let the world know that there is no secret what God can do, what he has done for others he will do for you. And most of all I hope and pray that it will point the way to our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, Who Is the Door into heaven. With their action, they established a legacy for future generations to follow in similar situations. This volume examines the historical, political, and theological context of the creation of the Barmen Declaration, as it constituted an act of theological and political resistance against tyranny, terror, and fascism. The work of the Barmen Declaration demonstrated clearly and powerfully the "this-worldly" ethical and political salience of religion and theology to empower witness, resistance, and solidarity. Containing contributions from an inclusive array of renowned scholars, the volume unfolds the lasting legacy and continued relevance of Barmen.

Book excerpt: God is calling forth a generation that is passionate for His healing presence. To this end, God has equipped every person with a provision for healing. This provision was provided at the cross and is included in God's saving grace. God is not just able to heal us; He is willing to heal us. This isn't something God has yet to decide, He has already done it when Jesus bore our sins and our sicknesses and carried our pain at the cross (1 Peter 2:24; Isaiah 53:4-5). Healing in the Kingdom lays a foundation from God's Word on His will to heal the whole person in spirit, mind, and body. Learn how to receive healing by faith, how to address the roadblocks to healing, how to exhibit authority through the Holy Spirit, how God establishes divine health through His healing power, and how to see healing even more in this present age. Every believer can learn to receive and minister God's healing power through prayer, whether we're in the pew or on the street.
