Book excerpt: Some cravings will not be denied, no matter how taboo… Due to popular demand, Mod and Tatou, the hot identical twins who are an integral part of the White Tigers series finally have their own story told. On the surface, they’re mischievous and funny, good friends and a comfort to their fellow White Tigers when they go through life’s trials and pains. But there is more to these two underneath their gorgeous exteriors. They had their own path to the White Tiger, a path fraught with difficulty, self- criticism, challenges and struggles. After all, they couldn’t be in love with each other, want no other in every way possible and not feel conflicted right? So when the opportunity arose to practice the spiritually erotic path of the White Tiger in Tokyo, a place where they hoped to “cure” themselves of their problem, they jumped on it. However, as they both learned, the heart loves who it loves and they will be faced with the ultimate decision: give the heart what it wants or face the possibility of an unfulfilled yet “normal” life where they are acceptable? Now that they’ve had a taste of heaven, they might just not be able to give it up!

He just has to get Yuzo away from a sadistic master first… In desperation for his life, Yuzo Kitano escapes the sadistic clutches of Taro Suzuki, one of Tokyo's fiercest yakuza, and seeks refuge with Suzuki's arch-rival, Kikuchiya Fujimara, owner of the White Tiger, a luxurious love-hotel for gay men which also serves as a spiritual community for its inhabitants. From early meetings with the handsome, charismatic leader who trains men in the sexual Tao, Yuzo senses deep inside he's found someone he can trust and who will keep him safe. What he doesn't expect is the absolute sensual bliss he finds with Kikuchiya's skilled lovemaking and realises he's found what he's really wanted his whole life. But does Kiku want him in return? At first, Kiku sees only Yuzo's alluring beauty and desperate need for protection. But the headstrong impulsive Yuzo is also the first man Kiku has ever met whose touch is healing and calming for him, rather than a distressing channel for his psychic abilities, and the more he makes love to Yuzo, the more Kiku is in danger of losing his heart to another for the first time in his life. However, Kiku also knows that when Suzuki finds out where his slave has gone, there will be hell to pay. Kiku has already made one harrowing sacrifice to the yakuza in return for his freedom and might not survive a second... Publisher’s note: This book was previously published.

But Danny has a crush on the hunky, buff security guard, Dave, who patrols the building on MIT's campus where he is working on his PhD. One night when Danny is mugged leaving the building, Dave comes to his rescue...sort of...and their paths collide. The attraction is mutual and hot as wildfire. But Dave has baggage of his own that may stop him from ever loving again, especially when a great darkness in his past rears up to try and destroy him. At once a tale of sexual awakening and first love, Danny’s Dragon explores the inner strength needed to overcome obstacles, inner and outer, toward being with one's soulmate. Book excerpt: From Hell Hawks! author Bob Dorr, Mission to Tokyo takes the reader on a World War II strategic bombing mission from an airfield on the western Pacific island of Tinian to Tokyo and back. Told in the veterans' words, Mission to Tokyo is a narrative of every aspect of long range bombing, including pilots and other aircrew, groundcrew, and escort fighters that accompanied the heavy bombers on their perilous mission. Several thousand men on the small Mariana Islands of Guam, Saipan, and Tinian were trying to take the war to the Empire—Imperial Japan—in B-29 Superfortresses flying at 28,000 feet, but the high-altitude bombing wasn't very accurate. The decision was made to take the planes down to around 8,000 feet, even as low as 5,000 feet. Eliminating the long climb up would save fuel, and allow the aircraft to take heavier bomb loads. The lower altitude would also increase accuracy substantially. The trade-off was the increased danger of anti-aircraft fire. This was deemed worth the risk, and the devastation brought to the industry and population of the capital city was catastrophic. Unfortunately for all involved, the bombing did not bring on the quick surrender some had hoped for. That would take six more months of bombing, culminating in the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. As with Mission to Berlin (Spring 2011), Mission to Tokyo focuses on a specific mission from spring 1945 and provides a history of the strategic air war against Japan in alternating chapters.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Do the number Pi (π) contain everything within? Such as your date of birth, your date of death, even the date of the Doomsday. Well, what if someone knew that a long time ago and coded it somewhere? Could someone else have discovered America in the Middle Ages before Columbus? Well, what if this mysterious person is really a great Oracle who has to hide his talent, and what if his purpose of going there is not to discover a new continent, but to solve one of the world's greatest secrets, the Secret of a Mayan prophetic calendar that explains when the Doomsday in a Mayan pyramid is coming? The Mayans actually calculated the date of the Doomsday as 13.0.0.0.0 Baktun and they encoded it into a giant calendar. Well, what did that actually mean? 13 Baktun was actually a giant code in which the Mayans, who were also adept at mathematics, placed the true date of the Doomsday into the number Pi (π), and it indicated a date that was not 2012 but further. Did the Mayans come up with this information themselves, or did they get it from a lost civilization far more advanced than themselves, called Atlantis? Now everything was ready, he was about to find out which date actually 13th Baktun coincide with that is the biggest secret of human history hidden in the Mayan Calendar, which is impossible to solve, by calculating the hidden code in the number of Pi: 13th Baktun: 13,3333 × 366,6666 (day) = 4903rd code The 4903rd number of the Pi number Coincide with the year 2222. * * * In 1500, on a dark night in a farmhouse near Granada in Southern Spain, a gray-colored 1-meter extraterrestrial creature who called himself 'Alien' in his notes; stood in front of the door with two letters containing a series of prophecies about the future of the world and a mysterious map with a place marked on it, and with a huge picture that consisted of 100 scrambled numbers of some cryptic complex numbers and writing of future dates; and he was staring at Bruno with his big black eyes. In fact, this number picture, which is a giant 'Anagram', was a small piece of a giant spiral that began with 3.14... and extending to infinity, in which the histories of all the past and future events in the world were encoded. Alien suddenly threw the things in his hand towards him and began to run rapidly through the cornfield towards the lights descending from the sky 1 km away. As he began to run, the flying object began to quickly descend from the sky and disappeared into the darkness. Bruno first glanced toward the direction of the alien and went with fearful eyes. The chain of events that began in medieval Spain with a dramatic and bitter life and death struggle in the Inquisition led Bruno and his sister Sofia on a dangerous and long journey from Andalusia to a Mayan temple in Mexico, the center of the Mayan civilization, and it would eventually end with their execution. But the Great Prophecy that was announced would bring an end not only for the church or for them, but also the whole world this time. Because The Last Prophecy was leading humanity to the end of its story, the Doomsday, which started with the expulsion from Heaven. Where did humanity come from, where are we going? You will find the answer to this question in The Last Prophecy.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book brings together some of the finest academics in the field to address important questions around the way in which people experience their physical environments, including temperature, light, air-quality, acoustics and so forth. It is of importance not only to the comfort people feel indoors, but also the success of any building as an environment for its stated purpose. The way in which comfort is produced and perceived has a profound effect on the energy use of a building and its resilience to the increasing dangers posed by extreme weather events, and power outages caused by climate change. Research on thermal comfort is particularly important not only for the health and well-being of occupants but because energy used for temperature control is responsible for a large part of the total energy budget of the built environment. In recent years there has been an increasing focus on the vulnerabilities of the thermal comfort system; how and why are buildings failing to provide safe and agreeable thermal environments at an affordable price? Achieving comfort in buildings is a complex subject that involves physics, behaviour, physiology, energy conservation, climate change, and of course architecture and urban design. Bringing together the related disciplines in one volume lays strong, multi-disciplinary foundations for new research and design directions for resilient 21st century architecture. This book heralds workable solutions and emerging directions for key fields in building the resilience of households, organisations and populations in a heating world.
