Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: THIRD EDITION. Aimed at both Christian and Orthodox Scholars, 'Meat in Due Season' is an exciting commentary on the KINGDOM of GOD that is destined to rule on earth. It takes a serious look at the Hebrew foundations of Judeo Messianic Christianity, offering a clear view of what it was meant to be and what it became as the result of erroneous, misunderstood institutionalized doctrines. As the final curtain is about to "go up", the author looks at some of the Scriptural Prophesies currently unfolding upon the volatile geo-political stage of the Middle East - prompting one to consider Psalm 145:15: "Thou givest them their Meat [understanding] in Due Season." A limited First Edition published in 2005 drew such favorable comments as: "Meat in Due Season, is both inspiring and thought provoking and I have enjoyed reading it... we are committed to Israel and the book reflects this well." Malcom Hedding, Executive Director of the International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem.

Book excerpt: We may experience pain, suffering, and trials in our Christian walks through life, but no one has been through more battles on their Christian walk than one man-Jesus Christ. When we are facing difficult challenges and obstacles in our lives, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ can show us how to overcome and find victory in the tough times. Meat in Due Season is an inspiring devotional guide that can help fellow believers survive the storms of life, and it is a hands-on scriptural guide with one thing in mind-the Lord and how he can help his children make it through. Author and minister Victor Kennedy shares his own life experiences and offers a window into the major trials he experienced while writing-the daily devotions often reflect a situation that literally happened on that very day. By reflecting on God's Word and on the example of Christ, you too can find victory in the tough times and get a greater appreciation of your times of peace. Especially with Christ's forgiveness, you can be motivated to forgive and walk with the Lord to the peace, joy, and fulfilment that he provides along your journey.

Book excerpt: "Meat in Due Season" - Psalms 145: 15, is a commentary on Judeo Messianic Christianity, a simple and complete overview of what it is, what it is not and what it has become as the result of erroneous institutional doctrines and teachings. The author presents an interesting and concise look at the subject of Devine Salvation from the time of Adam through Scriptural Prophesy to the current Middle-East geo-political situation involving the West, Israel and Islam, all the way down to who built the Great Pyramid of Giza - controversial and uncomfortable in parts for some, but extremely nourishing and Biblically well supported for others. The first limited two-color text version of this book published in 2005 drew such favorable comment as: "Meat in Due Season, is both inspiring and thought provoking and I have enjoyed reading it... we are committed to Israel and the book reflects this well." Malcom Hedding, Executive Director of the International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem.

Book excerpt: This book is a lively exploration of the amazing revelation known to Mormons as the “Word of Wisdom.” It counsels us how and what we should eat to reach our highest potential, both physically and spiritually. New and surprising insights are presented through the perspective of what has been proven to be the healthiest human diet, a way of eating supported both by history and by science: a whole food, plant-based (WFPB) diet. WFPB vegetarian diets have been scientifically proven to both prevent and cure chronic disease, help you achieve your maximum physical potential, and make it easy to reach and maintain your ideal weight. In this book, you’ll find the stories of dozens of people who are enjoying the blessings of following a Word of Wisdom diet, and you’ll get concrete advice on how to get started! You will discover: What we should and should not eat to enjoy maximum physical health. How food is intimately connected to our spiritual well being. Why Latter-day Saints are succumbing to the same chronic diseases as the rest of the population, despite not smoking, drinking, or doing drugs. How the Word of Wisdom was designed specifically for our day. How you can receive the “hidden treasures” and other blessings promised in the Word of Wisdom. Why eating the foods God has ordained for our use is better not just for our bodies, but for the animals and for the earth. You may think you know what the Word of Wisdom says, but you’ll be amazed at what you have missed. Learn why Mormons all over the world are “waking up” to the Word of Wisdom!

Book excerpt: In Due Season:Destiny is Calling Your Soul is an account of my personal transformation and purpose on this earth. The title "In Due Season", comes from the Bible, Galatins 6:9; "And let not us grow weary while doing good, for in time we shall reap, if we do not lose heart." Many have asked how to identify the purpose of their journey. They have asked how to make time to accomplish their purpose and where the money will come from. To uncover your personal transformation, you first start with a desire to create. Next, a spiritual practice of meditating, fasting and prayer, journaling, being still and listening, and physical exercising and proper nutrients will help transfrom your path. The first chapter is about the start of my journey to complete healing, wholeness and health. Second, how daily workouts, along with wholesome foods, helped to shape my weight loss and my personal journey. The 3rd chapter tells of how my soul got ready for a new perfoming arts career. Living out my childhood dreams that I carried for 39 years. 4th chapter asks are we ever too old to live out our dreams and passions in this lifetime? It's Carol's season now and yours! Last, how to identify your calling, purpose, or mission on this earth.

Book excerpt: Early Interracial Oneness Pentecostalism is a look at what is perhaps the least-known chapter in the history of American Pentecostalism. The study of the first thirty years of Oneness Pentecostalism (1901-31) is especially relevant due to its unparalleled interracial commitment to an all-flesh, all-people, counter-cultural Pentecost. This in-depth study details the lives of its earliest primary architects, including G. T. Haywood, R. C. Lawson, J. J. Frazee, and E. W. Doak, and the emergence of Oneness Pentecostalism and its flagship organization, Pentecostal Assemblies of the World. This is a one-of-a-kind history of Pentecostalism, through the lens of the Jesus' Name movement and the interracial struggles of the period, interlinking the significance of Charles Parham, William Seymour and the Azusa Street revival, COGIC, the newly formed Assemblies of God, and dozens of the earliest Oneness organizational bodies. Exploration of the significance of the role of African American Indianapolis leader G. T. Haywood is central, as are the development of the movement's key centers in the United States and the ultimate loss of interracial unity after more than thirty years. These crucial events marked, indelibly, the U.S., the global missionary, and the autochthonous expansion of Oneness Pentecostalism worldwide.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In any commentary on a portion of the Old Testament by a writer unacquainted with Hebrew, exact criticism, and freedom from mistake, must not be expected. But the Psalms have been so in the mouth and in the heart of God's people in all languages, that it has been necessary often to find an explanation suitable to imperfect translations. And no doubt it is intended that we should use such explanations for the purpose of edification, when we are unable to be more accurate, though in proving doctrine it is necessary always to remember and allow for any want of acquaintance with the original, or uncertainty with respect to its actual meaning. However, the main scope and bearing of the text is rarely affected by such points as vary in different translations, and the analogy of the faith is sufficient to prevent a Catholic mind from adopting any error in consequence of a text seeming to bear a heterodox meaning. Perhaps the errors of translation in the existing versions may have led the Fathers to adopt rules of interpretation ranging too far from the simple and literal; but having such translations, they could hardly use them otherwise. Meanwhile St. Augustin will be found to excel in the intense apprehension of those great truths which pervade the whole of Sacred Writ, and in the vivid and powerful exposition of what bears upon them. It is hardly possible to read his practical and forcible applications of Holy Scripture, without feeling those truths by the faith of which we ought to live brought home to the heart in a wonderful manner. His was a mind that strove earnestly to solve the great problems of human life, and after exhausting the resources, and discovering the emptiness, of erroneous systems, found truth and rest at last in Catholic Christianity, in the religion of the Bible as expounded by St. Ambrose. This is volume two out of two, covering the Psalms LXXIV through CL.
