While it would be manifestly impossible to deal with the mathematics of all the industries in a book of this nature, yet we hope that the fundamentals as herein presented will form a basis for a wide range of industries. No doubt experts in the various departments will have suggestions to make as to how the book might be improved. We will be very glad to hear from them in this connection.
