Book excerpt: How do we bridge the chasm between the world of mainstream science and the world of spirit? This books shows that the chasm is an artifact of Descartes' deal with the Inquisition. By applying quantum principles to the life sciences, we see that thoughts and feelings are our connection to the world of knowing and influence across space and time. The world of spirit and intuition is just as real as the world of atomic accelerators and biochemical laboratories. Capabilities that have been disallowed by science or relegated to the realm of practitioners of alternative arts are now available to anyone wants to access the non-material world. Distance healing, intuitive knowing and divination can now be embraced by mainstream science under the new paradigm of quantum life. Doug Bennett applies the principles of quantum mechanics to life, the holographic nature of thought and feeling, to establish the divinity of humans and the humanity of god. This book will appeal to people who think about things as well as intuitives who "feel" about things. The author is a card-carrying thinker and an aspiring intuitive. His insights into the relationship between physics and consciousness have deeply influenced by understanding, and I am deeply grateful to him. Physics of the Soul is both challenging and brilliant." —Deepak Chopra Quantum Physics and Spirituality Made Simple At last, science and the soul shake hands. Writing in a style that is both lucid and charming, mischievous and profound, Dr. Amit Goswami uses the language and concepts of quantum physics to explore and scientifically prove metaphysical theories of reincarnation and immortality. In Physics of the Soul, Goswami helps readers understand the perplexities of the quantum physics model of reality and the perennial beliefs of spiritual and religious traditions. He shows how they are not only compatible but also provide essential support for each other. The result is a deeply broadened, exciting, and enriched worldview that integrates mind and spirit into science.

It's just what I do.In the summer of 2017, I upgraded my science to Science 2.0. Science 2.0 allows ALL of the evidence into evidence and is based upon the Lived Experiences (phenomenology) of the human race, including our non-local experiences or transdimensional experiences. Science 2.0 is the way that science should have always been done but wasn't. Under Science 2.0, everything is taken into consideration; and, I chose to go with a preponderance of the evidence. From the very beginning, I felt that Science 2.0 needed to justify its existence. The way that it does so is by repeatedly demonstrating through comparison and contrast that Science 2.0 is vastly superior to Scientific Naturalism and Eliminative Materialism.Science 2.0 is based upon Phenomenology. Phenomenology is the scientific study of events, experiences, and phenomena of all types. The BEST way to find and know the truth is to live it and experience it for yourself, or to choose to trust someone who has. The second-best way to find and know the truth is through a process of elimination. If we eliminate everything that is false, has been falsified, has never been experienced nor observed, or has been demonstrated to be false and impossible, then eventually only the truth will remain. The Ultimate Truth that remains after the false and the falsified have been eliminated is the fact that Psyche or Non-Local Consciousness is the Ultimate Causal Agent in all dimensions and in every universe. One of the first fruits from my upgrade to Science 2.0 is a new science that I call Quantum Neuroscience. Quantum Neuroscience is the scientific study of how the Human Psyche interacts with and controls its physical brain. Quantum Neuroscience is primarily a human science, because only human beings write, tell, report, and share their non-local experiences, near-death experiences, out-of-body experiences, quantum experiences, psychic experiences, supernatural experiences, encounters with God, shared-death experiences, visions, revelations, and other types of transdimensional or spiritual experiences. That doesn't mean that other species don't have these types of experiences. It just means that only human beings or human psyches have the language capabilities necessary to share these types of experiences with other human beings. As an integral part of Science 2.0, Quantum Neuroscience allows ALL of the evidence into evidence. Quantum Neuroscience is an evidentiary science. It stands in stark contrast to the things we had before, which were based upon a rejection of evidence and a refusal to look at evidence. Quantum Neuroscience is an observational science, experiential science, eye-witness science, and empirical science that's based upon the Phenomenology or the Lived Experiences of the human race through a preponderance of the evidence. Quantum Neuroscience is an attempt to understand and explain the physically impossible. I hope you will find it as interesting as I found it to be.Ironically, everything within Quantum Neuroscience is discovered, verified, and proven Science. Quantum Field Theory, Action at a Distance, and Quantum Mechanics are proven science. They have been constantly verified and proven true. In this book, I'm simply using them to explain Neuroscience, as should have been done decades ago. When it comes to Quantum Neuroscience, there's nothing to prove. It has already been proven true. I simply took it and ran with it.

All of a sudden, you may be faced with challenges such as anxiety, depression, despair, the Dark Night of the Soul, and a multitude of other energetic and spiritual imbalances. Living in a Quantum Reality helps to identify the common side effects of wholeness consciousness and offers a variety of exercises, meditations, and healing methods to cope with having a higher consciousness in a world that is still struggling to catch up. Living in a Quantum Reality helps you understand your “impossible” transpersonal experiences by integrating quantum physics into psychology and offering a user-friendly description of the many layers or spheres of energy and consciousness. This vision of the quantum self synthesizes spiritual thought with an array of scientific disciplines, and is supported by the author’s own direct experiences, as well as her clients’ experiences with larger reality. This book is a step toward advancing the field of psychology, and especially the practice of psychotherapy, to catch up with the latest, more quantum, worldview, one that is more comprehensive for understanding the reaches of our human consciousness and psycho-spiritual experiences.

Book excerpt: From a National Book Award winner, “methodical and clear . . . provides physics-phobics a wide bridge to understanding some often arcane material” (Booklist). Why do we believe in the soul? Does it actually exist? If so, what is it? Does it differ from the self? Does it survive the body after death? In The Spiritual Universe, Fred Alan Wolf brings the most modern perspective of quantum physics to the most ancient questions of religion and philosophy. Taking the reader on a fascinating tour of both Western and Eastern thought, Wolf explains the differing view of the soul in the works of Plato, Aristotle, and St. Thomas, the ancient Egyptian’s belief in the nine forms of the soul, the Qabalistic idea of the soul acting in secret to bring spiritual order to a chaotic universe of matter and energy, and the Buddhist vision of a “nonsoul.” Wolf then mounts a defense of the soul against its modern critics who see it as nothing more than the physical body. “One of the few pathfinders who have discovered the versatility and potency of the new quantum paradigm based on consciousness.” —Amit Goswami, Professor of Physics and author of The Self-Aware Universe “The questions are exhilarating and the conclusions are properly mysterious and profoundly inconclusive . . . you’ll love the spirited journey.” —Thomas Moore, author of Care of the Soul and The Re-Enchantment of Everyday Life “Wolf is a new Thales for a new physics of the soul; his book will blow your mind and quicken your spirit.” —Michael Grosso, Ph.D., author of The Millennium Myth and Frontiers of the Soul

Book excerpt: The Nobel Prize-winning physicist and bestselling author of The First Three Minutes describes the grand quest for a unifying theory of nature--one that can explain forces as different as the cohesion inside the atom and the gravitational tug between the sun and Earth. Wirting with dazzling elegance and clarity, he retraces the steps that have led modern scientists from relativity and quantum mechanics to the notion of super-strings and the idea that our universe may coexist with others. But Weinberg asks as many questions as he answers, among them: Why does each explanation of the way nature works point to other, deeper explanations? Why are the best theories not only logical but beautiful? And what implications will a final theory have for our philosophy and religious faith? Intellectually daring, rich in anecdote and aphorism, Dreams of a Final Theory launches us into a new cosmos and helps us make sense of what we find there.

Book excerpt: For those seeking a spirituality without the history and dogma of organized religion, Life and Spirit offers a spirituality that arises naturally out of the nature of reality. We are all "of God." For those seeking support and explanation of their practice of the paranormal arts, Life and Spirit offers an explanation grounded in hard science. Your practice is completely normal. For those rare science people who what to know if there is any truth in all those spirit and paranormal things that people keep talking about, here is an explanation in the language of the science that you know and love. Life and Spirit is about the connection between the transcendent quantum field and human life in the material world. But this book does something more than most books on this subject, which is to describe how high-level human function is connected to the quantum field. The connection is a synthesis of several lines of new research in science, so it is a "theoretical" proposal. It does, however, meet the first test of a valid scientific model: it accounts for observations that current models in science cannot explain. Those observations are the paranormal phenomena and the spiritual phenomena. The paranormal includes psychics, medical intuitives, energy healing, premonitions, past lives, and more. The spiritual includes God, soul, spirit, life after death, ghosts and more. Of course, the science that includes all those things is very different from today's mainstream, reductionist science, and the spirituality that is described by science is very different from the spirituality of today's mainstream, exclusive religions. The world that emerges from this model is both empowering and threatening for most of us. It is empowering because we are all integral parts of the quantum intelligence that people have always called, God. Threatening because we are integral parts of God and because the medium of our connection and our power is our much-maligned feelings. Descartes and the patriarchy got it wrong.

Book excerpt: In this inspiring coming-of-age memoir, a world-renowned astrophysicist emerges from an impoverished childhood and crime-filled adolescence to ascend through the top ranks of research physics. Navigating poverty, violence, and instability, a young James Plummer had two guiding stars-a genius IQ and a love of science. But a bookish nerd was a soft target in his community, where James faced years of bullying and abuse. As he struggled to survive his childhood in some of the country's toughest urban neighborhoods in New Orleans, Houston, and LA, and later in the equally poor backwoods of Mississippi, he adopted the persona of "gangsta nerd"-dealing weed in juke joints while winning state science fairs with computer programs that model Einstein's theory of relativity. Once admitted to the elite physics PhD program at Stanford University, James found himself pulled between the promise of a bright future and a dangerous crack cocaine habit he developed in college. With the encouragement of his mentor and the sole Black professor in the physics department, James confronted his personal demons as well as the entrenched racism and classism of the scientific establishment. When he finally seized his dream of a life in astrophysics, he adopted a new name, Hakeem Muata Oluseyi, to honor his African ancestors. Alternately heartbreaking and hopeful, A QUANTUM LIFE narrates one man's remarkable quest across an ever-expanding universe filled with entanglement and choice.

Book excerpt: A first-hand exploration of how to consciously step out of your body and navigate the Quantum Akashic Field • Details a step-by-step process of engaging extrasensory, out-of-body travel • Examines the quantum landscape of the Akashic Field, meetings with spirit guides, and descriptions of out-of-body experiences from the author’s personal journal and from world spiritual traditions, including the Bible and the Baghavad Purana • Explores current theories about the science of consciousness and sensory perception, including discoveries from quantum physics, and how these discoveries align with the traditional wisdom of shamans, dowsers, and mystics Physicists have recently discovered a whole quantum-based reality, a multidimensional world where all potentials simultaneously exist. Called the Akashic Field by systems scientist Ervin Laszlo, it is the same quantum reality that mystics, shamans, and dowsers have been exploring for thousands of years through astral travel, spirit journeying, and energy work. Revealing how to gain awareness of the Quantum Akashic Field through conscious out-of-body experiences (OBEs), Jim Willis shares fascinating firsthand accounts taken from the detailed OBE journals he has kept for nearly 10 years, alongside analysis of recent discoveries in quantum physics and wisdom from the world’s spiritual traditions. He details his own experiences with a wide variety of astral beings, spirit guides, landscapes, laws, and activities that he encountered in the Quantum Akashic Field. Drawing on scientifically-based principles that underlie the very nature of biological life, he explains how the brain is an organizer, not a producer, of consciousness. He explores the difference between dreams, visions, and OBEs and powerful ways to harness the imagination. Detailing a step-by-step process centered on safe, simple meditative techniques, Willis shows how to bypass the filters of your five senses while still fully awake and aware and engage in extrasensory, out-of-body travel. Sharing his journey to connect with universal consciousness and navigate the quantum landscape of the Akashic Field, he reveals how conscious OBEs allow you to penetrate beyond normal waking perception into the realm of quantum perception.
