L'objectif de ce travail est de faire un recueil de ces pathologies après avoir étudié le modèle biopsychosocial de la douleur chronique. Nous verrons que ses différents facteurs constituent de nombreuses variables pour identifier les patients se chronicisant et deviennent incontournables pour un plan de traitement personnalisé. En rappelant les principes et objectifs des médecines alternatives complémentaires (l'ostéopathie, l'hypnose et l'acupuncture), nous illustrons leurs actions sur ces facteurs biopsychosociaux. Ces types de thérapies mises en place montrent une approche rassurante, une écoute active et une ouverture au point de vue du patient qui rendent les attentes plus optimistes et obtiennent de meilleurs résultats thérapeutiques. Le patient est alors au cœur de sa prise en charge qui ne peut se déployer sans sa collaboration. Il est indispensable de proposer une orientation complémentaire à ces patients et d'échanger librement avec ces praticiens dans une nouvelle pluridisciplinarité de compétence.

Matricellular receptors are defined as (cell-surface) receptors that bind extracellular matrix (ECM) structural proteins and soluble factors dynamically acting on ECM homeostasis. Matricellular receptors mediate numerous signalings from the extracellular environment to cell nucleus and drive main biological functions that are cell growth, survival and migration. Numerous data from the last decade evidence that matricellular receptors are biosensors that allow to a tumor cell answering to microenvironmental variations, and in this sense they are important contributors to tumor cell malignancy. Matricellular receptors represent thus valuable targets for the development of original anti-cancer strategies. Original reports, bibliographic reviews or hypotheses are welcome to improve the basic knowledge of matricellular receptor properties, their spatio-temporal regulation, the dynamic formation of complex receptors and the impact of such interactions on the invasive properties of tumor cells. Biological, biophysical and pharmacological, as well as in silico contributions will be appreciated.
